Dear all,
A big HELLO! to all of you here at SMC. My name is Shufi and I am 21 this year. A little about me now... well, I've always been interested in magic but it never crossed my mind that i actually wanted to do this. Since abt 3yrs ago, i already started doing simple self-working tricks to friends and families. But things got very dull for me when i got into the army to serve my NS liability. I couldn't find time to the things that i love to do like playing soccer. From there, i decided to spent some of my free time working on my magic knowledge. i started reading up books but more often than not, i got all confused and couldn't understand what i was reading. Then, i decided to buy some DVDs to try out from www.penguinmagic.com. It was not a bad buy. The material was an eye-opener for me actually. Eversince then, i kept on buying more videos to watch and learn from. Also, i started to buy gimmicks to try out and i soon started making magic a part of me. everywhere i go, i always carry a pack of cards with to practice in the bus or train, or even show a thing or two to my friends and sometimes, strangers.
So, it's been a year now. During this year, it's been very meaningful for me. I came to meet quite a number of friends who are also magicians. We started to exchange ideas and stuff like that. Not long later, I met Ayatollah who is a member of IBM. He is one funny guy i must say and his mentalism acts often stunned me. haha.
As for me, I only deal with card magic. I am starting to pick up coin magic presently, but my skill sucks as of now. still trying to work on my basics though. Alright then, i think i've said enough. Hope to get to meet and know more magicians here. see u all arnd!
