wow, thats really nice, totally different from the twisting the aces that i learnt from street magic which uses the emsley count.

lukold - May 1, 2005 02:47 PM (GMT)
whoa , thats a nice one ...dtjk , elmsley count was good tho?

dtjk - May 1, 2005 02:49 PM (GMT)
yea, the twisting the aces at street magic is good, but the one exohorden did was jus something different. tml i go ask daniel if he got teach or not, lol.

DrinkMilo - May 1, 2005 03:32 PM (GMT)
i think there's another trick with the same effect.not sure what though.

anyway,nicely done.(:

BuaYa - May 2, 2005 01:52 AM (GMT)
UGH. I dunno why you all liked the video, there were too many weird points! Sure they'd make sense if you put themn together like how Bush covers up his mistakes... Not convincingly! Better luck next time man!

GordonLi - May 2, 2005 02:03 AM (GMT)
i agree. i dun understand whats going on!

many sleights arent covered, lack motivation and are not natural.

DrinkMilo - May 2, 2005 03:50 AM (GMT)
i understand that you guys know how its done.

but some of us here still dont know how its done.so we think that its quite good la.

so we think thats its quite well done u see

hihs - May 2, 2005 04:07 AM (GMT)

DM,

It's not really a matter of whether we know the effect or not; it's the degree of excecution that really matters. Picture a person telling a joke. The joke can be a hilariously funny one that you've never heard before, but if the joke-teller stutters, misses timing, and forgets the punchline, do you still expect people to laugh?

Exo, the joke analogy was a bit of an overexaggeration, but I hope you know that there are areas that can be improved in. Burr.

yep.there sure are areas to improve on.although i dont noe the trick :P

sry for the trouble.

R_jayz - May 2, 2005 05:56 AM (GMT)
quite nice..(because i don't know the trick) But the actions a bit funny.

bean - May 2, 2005 07:39 AM (GMT)
nice but the part which you spread out the cards looks werid

LarryDK - May 2, 2005 12:25 PM (GMT)
Its hard to understand what u trying to do without any explanation before hand.

But hmm, it is a nice effect.

zhuanan - May 28, 2005 12:38 AM (GMT)
I have heard of Waving the Aces being in addition to Twisting the Aces. Are both of them same (at least conceptual wise?)

Thanks

Sehnsucht - May 28, 2005 01:39 AM (GMT)
different. waving the aces involves the sandwich. just like what blaine did on his special.

Alexander - May 28, 2005 01:51 AM (GMT)
Nah, thats what elluisionist called that effect. If i'm not wrong, I think the one Blaine did was called Out Of the Body Experience (DAryl's encylopedia).

Waving the Aces is an effect by Guy Hollingworth, which is a visual twist of 4 cards.

zhuanan - May 28, 2005 03:23 PM (GMT)
Comparatively Waving the Aces should be more difficult right? (although both involve "playing around" with the aces"

Alexander - May 29, 2005 02:28 AM (GMT)
Yes, the Guy Hollingworth's version is compartively very difficult. Needs alot of prractise and good grips on the cards.

gerald - May 30, 2005 11:50 AM (GMT)
your hands too stiff, feels like robot doing a trick.

Dragon - May 30, 2005 12:52 PM (GMT)
hey i enjoyed ur vid alot. just find that it isnt smooth and the spreading of the cards esp was a little sluggish. and the rountine's a little too long for me as well. visually entertaining nonetheless. esp the waving part. :)
