I voted Chalet. Cos Chalet is like rojak outing, you can go Kbox one night, go for movies for the other, go beach on the evenings and we can cuddle together for a mini Horror (my Fave!!!) anyway, chalet is a good idea for you all youngsters ^_^ . how abt a chalet plus a bbq? ^_^ maybe the organiser can ask for how many are going to the chalet & stay overnight. meanwhile, a bbq can be organised on one of the nights.

in essence, members will indicate whether they want to stay for overnight or just go for the bbq alone.....or both. of course, different charges applied.

many people seem to like the idea of chalet...but i voted others cos i like a standard outing more....even though i haven't been to one yet.

perhaps u can contact or check the site of NTUC income... or give them a call.

With so many going, you have to get those chalet in Changi/ Pasir Ris. Govenment employees will get good deals. Another point to note is, most chalets will be taken during the school holidays. Have to act fast.

but if u REALLY cannot book a chalet because its full, perhaps u can book 1 at sentosa..

june holidays chalets are..

1. expensive (VERY)
2. impossible to get
3. packed with people

Has anyone tried the changi holiday flats? those are like our normal HDB unit with 2 rooms each. as its like 1 or 2 blocks of them (higher chance to get).. so if u all couldn't manage to get those at east coast or pasir ris.. maybe can try to get those flats and its cheaper.. then maybe can rent a few units too if there are a lot of ppl going.. the last time i went was a quite few years ago.. not sure if they are still around though.. :P

or, if we want minimal magic, and just have fun, we can have it at one of the public parks (beaches).

I have went to Changi Bunaglow chalet before. Super boring... Except for Changi Village's Cheers and Subway, there's practically Nothing there that's decent.
