Hey guys, (this will sound lame) I had this idea of USPCC creating litmus bikes.

yes, LITMUS Bikes.

As in you noe, you are wearing a TT that secretes either a weak acid or a weak alkali... the backs of the bikes are either made of red or blue litmus, so imagine this:

You are doing a Red Hot Momma Routine. You start talking about there's only one card in the blue deck being red. So you ask them to choose it while the deck is face up. Well they can pick anyone, and when it is turned over, it is BLUE.

Disappointed, u excuse urself by saying u messed up, and with ur TT, u rub it over the back, turning it from blue to red... VISUALLY.

How's that? (told u it was LAME)

i dunno if this will work.. because when i am doing my experiment with litmus paper, they turned either from blue to red or red to blue when there is moisture? not too sure.. but definitely not wise as some part may have already have some blue or red marks on it..
Nonetheless a great idea..

It is not easy, as when u produce those cards, it is machine made. So u think about it. Using those materials means that the card quanlity might drop greatly.

And the effect is due to heat or moisture. Which is not ideal in singapore? There is a chance when you cannot restore it. And it will be very expensive trick.

i once thought of sumthin like that before... but of course it will not work... other than the above point, the colour produced wil be fake as the colours will be uneven...

You know, thats really really creative. Wonder why I didn't think of that. Well, putting acid in a TT is really dangerous but hell, its a creative idea.

There's an effect that's kinda similar to yours, except with fire. A chemically treated card changed from the 5 to the 9 of hearts when touched to a flame, it's a cool trick... but I dunno if acids/alkalines are as reliable :P

well, i think this idea MIGHT just work, but of course u wouldnt use concentrated acid...

i might keep this in mind, may wanna work on it in future... :)
