Title: Erdnase Color Change

hi guys ! i just got the Born to perform DVD 2 days ago and had been practising some of the flourishes. However, when i do the colour change, sometimes i tend to * 2 instead of 1. They just like "stick together". Is this due to lack of practise or am I doing some parts wrong ? thx !

Kino, congrats on your first DVD which is very good for new card magicians.
Looking at you spending US$29.95 on the DVD, I'm sure you doesn't wish to perform to your friends and they say
"HEY, I know that trick u did, it's from BORN TO PERFROM by OZ Pearlman, I read from the forum how this method is done. I DIDNT BUY ANY DVD AT ALL ~"
Try to ask without the details, because alot good helpers can understand the magician language... :ph43r:
Regarding your problem, try to use a Bicycle Deck or any Air-Cushion deck. Then when u doing the Color Change, tilt the whole deck and push it. U will get it with a few practice. Need some tilting, u get your correct spot by practising, noone can tell u which angle is it.

a simple tip is to not put too much pressure on the cards at any point in the colour change. keep the amount of pressure u exert on the cards at a minimal, so the cards will not "stick together".

Try not to exert so much force..and also like what others said,use a deck good enough for doing magic..(obviously not deck you can get on the plane)
and the rest is just PRACTICE!PRACTICE!PRACTICE! :D

practice ~ sure works...
first time i do color change to my friend, she say "aiyo, i saw wad u do to the card liao la, so easy to tell, u waste your money on some monkey tricks la...... you call these MAGIC AH ? " :(
after a few months later, i show her again in the ACR and she was
"omg, did u just change the card the same method u did a few months ago ??? I TOTALLY CONFUSS !! OR U BUY ANOTHER NEW DVD "
