Ok guys,

Here are two different gigs under NKF, please take a look and volunteer away!!

1) Family Support Group Event for Child Beneficiaries of NKF Children's Medical Fund

Date: 19 June 2005 THIS SUNDAY (Short notice! Do volunteer!)

Time: 2-4pm

Place: NKF Centre (81 Kim Keat Road)

Details: About 130 Families (Not all will bring children)
The beneficiaries' parents will be in the auditorium having a dialogue and sharing session, thus we are looking for a couple of moving magicians to entertain the children.

So this is a strolling gig for children.

We Need: 2 - 3 volunteers. Close up



2) LifeForce Appreciation Ceremony (Pri and Sec)


Date: 24 July 2005 (Secondary School)
31July 2005 (Primary School)

Time: 2-3 pm (To be confirmed)

Place: NKF Centre (81 Kim Keat Road)

Details: About 200-300 people per day. This event is for the loyal donors both from Primary and Secondary School who have contributed a great deal to helping the child beneficiaries in the CMF and thus this award ceremony is organised to recognize their efforts and show NKF's appreciation.

This one is also children focused but I think it's a bit more family than the other one above. From the sound of the events description, I think a stage act is possible if anybody is willing to come forward.

We need: 2 - 3 volunteers for this one. Stage/ Close up

Navarrone: Sure you can try!! Bring down something to perform for this Saturday's meeting? The main emphasis is to go there and learn how to perform and try out your stuff! However we must make sure the performers are presentable. Coming this sat? :)

Justy, Yes you can get CIP points from this. I will ask the organiser for you. Pls bring your materials this Sat for the meeting and we'll have a quick run-through! No pressure though. :)

Big Thank You to all who came down today, it was a very enjoyable show although there was a change of performance timing by the organisers. I felt really happy to be there to perform for the disabled kids and their family. One of the most rewarding aspects of doing magic isn't it? ^_^

I'm lynette, i went to the recent NKF event as a volunteer with a friend of mine,heexX~*
!... And we were amazed by the Stage magic put up by one of the Magicians. It was Awesome.
I could see that children really enjoyed the performance, it was certainly Mind blowing:)


There was this guy who certainly caught my attention.He was like quite Tall, Dark and
handsome..heexX~*!.If i'm not wrong his name starts with like N or something.He was
wearing a collar shirt and had spikey hair.I was watching him from afar and i found
him sho cute...HeexX~! my friend has gotta agree with me on that too..haha.
