Hello everyone... as you must know by now, SMC is undergoing yet another revamp, mainly online actually.

We envision the spanking new SMC portal to cater to people from all walks of life, from those who are inquisitive about magic to those who perform for a living. As such we need to have a little information for them, and I guess a good place to start is to target the beginner or the curious, and to give them a better picture about what magic is all about. As such I would like to request some essays from you guys on the following topics

1) How magic found me.

2) What "magic" means to me OR
What"magic" is all about OR
The essence of magic.

Please treat this as sort of a school assignment in the sense that please do not use short-form words (eg abt, nvr, wt£) and please also try your best to ensure that your essay is gramatically and structurally sound.

I'm sorry I can't offer any form of recompense now for your contributions, but rest assured all credit for the essays (if published) will go to you!

One more thing, you can email you essays to me at phandal(a)rocketmail.com in .doc format, .pdf, .txt etc as long as it's in a format that's commonly used.
