Hi guys,

This is the first time i organizing meet ups for an event. So here goes, I will arrange 2 meet ups to go to the SMN sale that are coming up on this friday. It is as followed:

1st Meet up:

Time: 2pm (Will leave at 2:30pm)
Meet up: Raffles MRT Station Control

2nd Meet up:

Time: 6:30pm
Meet up: Lau Pa Sat

For the second meet up, we will be having our dinner at Lau Pa Sat while waiting for the people to come.

Those interested to join us in the meet up, please state in your post which meet up u will be going for.

For late comers on that day, please contact me and i will further guide u along.

For those that are going earlier than the meet up time, you have to make your way there urself.

For those that dun know me, you have to take note of someone playing with his black tiger at the station control.

Anyway, Lau Pa Sat is within walking distance from Raffles Place MRT. For those of you who will come late for the second meeting time and miss your dinner, we can always go back to LPS for supper later! Satay there is popular and the place opens throughout the night! Don't arrive too late though, don't want to miss the special night lecture by Pambudi!!

It is the most fun part of the warehouse sale 2 years ago! A hand chopper went to the buyer for just $5, many video tapes went for less than $10, and many things going at $1 and they are originals! (Oh yes, any "magic police" are welcome to help us catch people selling fake items.)

We have so much fun outbidding each other! Those who may been to a magic auction will understand that! :)

Please register the items with Jason you want to sell for the auction when you are there!

(Anyway, Larry, can help the dealers buy their dinner? :P)

I will Propose this then, for those coming out for the first timing, and will like to stay throughout of the whole Thing, For dinner we will meet outside of the room/Building at 5:30pm. It will be a free and easy outing. So not like a tour group loh.

I think overall it was great...Hope in the future got similar events.

Well I came late, but I performed for everyone there. I mean it, I performed for everyone, except for Ling, cos she wouldn't let me. Anyway, I bought ' pen through anything ' and I started piercing everyone's shirts. Everyone who was there, had their shirt pierced and poked except for Ling. She said if I did it to her, she would scream rape...

Anyway, Clement, I like your shirt * coming to your house to poke your shirt now *

argh i miss the auction , what was being sold?

basic stuff. I bought my pen through anything during the auction. Got it for 10 bucks : ). Oh anyway, there were some booklets being sold and a close up table and some jay sankey stuff. All were pretty cheap.

its ok, just take it as a practice performance.

i found ur routine quite interesting, some sequences ive never seen b4.

handling and presentation can be improved. :)

Hey guys I was there too. Was really unprepared when the crushed paper was thrown at me. I was the guy who performed cups and balls routine btw. Had to say that was the worst routine I have ever done. But hope I have a chance to perform a better one next time. Have a nice day!

Big thanks to everyone who turned up yesterday! The event was enjoyable to all of you I hope. The dealers loved the support you guys gave and so many things were sold! The auction saw many things going at rock bottom prizes, so for those who have bought something, I hope you have fun with it! I know Nick will...$10 for that pen is a steal! :)

And special thanks to Mr Pambudi who gave us the wonderful performance and very enlightening lecture despite feeling absolutely drained from a long flight the previous night and from certain activities from the couple of nights before in PK.. ^_^ . I certainly enjoyed it very much and I'm sure many of you did too.

Hope there will be more of such sales and activities in the near future!! :D

the routine itself was good. in fact, i was impressed. i myself dont have a cups and balls routine ready to perform when necessary. perhaps handling/presentation can be improved. but i guess its just nervousness and a sense of unpreparedness. but from some1 who didnt perform, ur courage is admirable.

I hope in the future that there will be similar events.Another warehouse sale?

From what I found out,the previous sale which was 2 years back had around 6-7 dealers.And that is great.More variety for us.So Jason,is it possible to have another warehouse sale next year where there will be more dealers.Just some suggestions here.

For those who make an effort to perform, thank you! I am sure, the more you perform, the better you will get! I still try to perform at every meeting if possible!

Anyway, sad to say, this is probably the last of sale I am going to take part. Yesterday was a closing down sale for me. (No wonder it is so cheap!!!) I am going to put less focus on being a dealer, and focus more on other areas.

I still have a little bit of my goods left over so if any of the dealers here wants to take over my goods, I will happy to push them to you at a reasonable price! (Thank you very much once again, please continue to support your dealers!) :g:

Ya, its wonderful overall.

Those performances of magic and flourishes are good, ya and most of u guys din come prepared and can perform, that is good enough.

Oh ya, clement, i got a old book about linking ring routines, its some varaitions of linking rings. So if happen to see u again, i show it to u. Edwin if u seeing this, i will show u also, i haven study the book yet.

By the way, the trick i got is good, monte effect..

please encourage JasonL who has done a brilliant job in organising it. A lot of things goes into the planning than you all think. I am sure he will organise more if a lot of you request for it!

I still may be manufacturing and bringing in some of the more unique items but most likely distributing to the dealers here.
