Title: Magic And Chemistry?

darkmagician - July 19, 2005 09:27 AM (GMT)
Hi all

I was just wondering if magic has anything to do with chemistry. I was just curious. Maybe everyone could discuss and post their ideas of chemistry related stuff.

For example, maybe flash paper is related to chemistry?

Well pls comment :D

During chem lab, I used to do a poor man's fire-eating act with a lighted splint. Does that count?

there are 2 good books on chemical magic:

Modern Chemical Magic by John D. Lippy Jr. and Edward L Palder
Chemical Magic by Leonard A. Ford

1 word of caution though, the chemicals needed are not always easy to find.
