hi, as a noob in cards, i have a question to ask...
While doing the top change, i can't help but noticed that during the move, there will be a snap of the card. I hope you know what i'm talking about. I'm wondering if i'm doing this wrong because it should be a "silent and stealthy change" as far as i know.
the snap is disturbing for me.. :(
Gordie can help.
Wat i know is that, inorder to not produce the big sound, you have to do it slowly. It is not that u need to change it fast, but change it smoothly. and ur movement can cover the change. So it wont be a pro if u do it slow.
Another way is not to pull down the deck or card, which in the end will cause the card to rub or pull other cards to produce sound.
I dun know whether this helps. But worth a try.

you prolly tilted your left hand too much, so it created some tension bwt the top 2 cards.
you might be wondering if you don't cover up the angles (by tilting your hand), won't it be too obvious?
Well, as far as i know, the top change has been called a silent and subtle change because NO ONE'S LOOKING. it's pretty easy to do when you've got good distraction (prolly why its so much used in 2 card monte), even if they hear the snapping sound, they'd just assume you're playing with the cards.
thanks man, those had bothered me for a while..
I had tilted my hand too much and too fast now i look at myself. I'm just feeling insecure because i have no experience in this handling.
Guess it's over-worrying. Thanks LarryDK and Jeremy! :D
