people here have talked about CTG for a long time... for those who have it, who can do a perfect(almost also acceptable) heaven display? if u can, can send me a video of it? i juz cant seem to get it rite...

You need to practice and you need to break in your cards to do it not any new deck of cards... :D

i would love to have the vid.... but i dont think i can aford to buy the originals though :(. anyone have any suggestions?

You can maybe try market place who is willing to trade with you are sell you second hand of that DVD.. :D

Sorry, but if I may say, this seems a little Dodgy. If you have CTG(you said that you cant seem to do it right, meaning you have seen it on CTG), why need a video of someone else doing it? Theres no better angle and video of it in CTG itself.

If you DONT have CTG, which I believe, Haha :D im afraid you have to either buy it, or meet someone who can do it, in person, in a safe place eg. the top of mount everest. I know everyone has this curiousity about what is the heaven display or what is the CTG routine from watching the trailer. Its just that, out of respect for De'vo who requested that it not be shown on video by anyone else, no one should make such a vid(kev n huron shush about this :D ). Its also because those loyal Handlordz minions will hunt you down in the middle of the night and slit your throat :ph43r:

The other problem I feel is that you have not mastered the required fans yet. do you have the necessary DVDs to teach you the techniques?

When you have learn the required stuff, you will be able to do a heaven display. Just practice, order it now if you are interested in flourishes.

People who claim they can't do it, is cause they never practice and never bothered to ask those who can do it to correct them. Sorry if i offend anyone in here ^_^ *Peace*

I have problem doing 2 chalier cuts. No problem doing 1 though. Does this matters with the size of you hands? I got to streatch my thumb till I can feel my skin is going to tear.

I believe I didn't it wrongly that's why I can't do it.

Whats a 2 charlier cut, lol. I am not sure, i just do my flourish and card manipulation without knowing the name sometime.

Or should I say double charlier cut. Hm... I'm not quiet sure too...

Its acutally cutting the cards in 1 hand. Very simple to do if its a single cut but a double is diffcult. (To me)

Its actually called a triple charlier (because there are 3 packets involved). This is Not taught in CTG by the way. it can be found on De'vos website in his cut combo teaching video though.

CTG is worth your money really and all the extra bouns stuff will make you money worth..

CTG is such a kickass routine. It's not just "a sybil/impossible stack" with a box. It's a full blown routine with an opener and a closer. It's one of the flourishes that seriously impress laymen. The closer with the box balanced on the thumb blows everyone away. It's very very cool.

The teaching is well paced and top notch. Plus you're not just getting the CTG routine, but you'll be taught supercool moves like the Flipback, Flipback Fan, Heaven Display and Smooth Opener. The Heaven Display is not shown on any preview but it's one of the most ingenious moves and concepts ever devised. No one but De'vo could have come up with something like that. De'vo goes to the extent of using a glass block to explain simple moves like the Flipback. That's how indepth everything is. This is more than your money's worth. Highly recommended.

Kevin is the one who got me started into flourishing in the first place.. gave me lots of help.. taught me his stuff generously(he's waaay too generous sometimes :lol: ) then after that he introduced me to Huron.

Haha.. this is the time where he helped to refine the stuff I already knew.. I owe a damn lot to this guy. though i hate to admit it cos it'll make me lose out in the little insult wars with him that are littered all over this forum :D :angry:

Anyway..back on topic.. CTG is really good. Very nice material. Very good teaching methods. but be prepared for lots of practice. LOTS. if you are the kind who likes 'tricks with great reactions and lil effort'.. erm.. this probably isnt for you. hahaha. Sadly, i only respect the material now ;)

i wonder how the heaven display looks like? why didnt they put in on the demo vid? scared people can copy? i mean if devo is like the best and if he thinks that he cant show it on the demo.. then we all how? will we ever be confident to show to others? i dont think anyone can do it better than DEVO himself rite? i got no idea wat the heaven display looks like. those who can do it... do u do it in front of people or only for ya own amazement?

by the way, some flourish in the CTG i can already kinda do it... but aint that smooth yet... i mean sometime flourishes i guess u can view it over and over like a milion times to see and memorise the routine. but i guess... CTG should be every flourishes DVD. i think ill continue to save up more money and get it oneday la.... it will be a great collection to my vids.. i dunno when i will get it... still thinking hard.. i mean i can already do the flip back and the opener i kinda can do it a bit... but my hands are freaking small.... so hard to flip open the flap lol...

BuaYa, my CTG routine sucks ass. Either that, or you haven't seen the original CTG routine enough, and then you'll have to agree with me too :P

The Heaven Display is a just a marvel to look at, and I can't do it because of a truamatising incident with brad christian that prevented me from doing fans in my left hand. So if De'vo let everybody do it on video, it would kind of lose it's impact non-laymen as well. Trust me, people will ask you for the "gimmick" :D
