May I ask a question about bending metal? I know there are some dvd out there, that teach people being metal spoon and fork, but I want to ask, is those methods just some trick? Or is it real mental power to bend the spoon.
LarryDK - August 13, 2005 06:03 PM (GMT)
It is juz like asking, hey how is metal bending done.
hanct - August 13, 2005 06:09 PM (GMT)
Haha...Actually I am not interested in metal bending..just that I have read about people (not magician) who have real ability in bending fork. Since it may be real possible to bend fork, so I wonder those dvd out there, whether if they are teaching just magic, or how to develop super power to bend fork...
When it comes to metal bending, I would rather choose to learn the real way of bending fork, not misdirection or any gimmick...

it depends which chicken rice stall you know..
the one i took from food junction cannnot lol.. too thick...
Ning - August 15, 2005 03:53 AM (GMT)
It also helps that you had a good meal before you use your powers... if you haven't eaten rice, you won't have the strength/ energy to execute those difficult cockscrew bends, much less break the tip off the fork! ;)
Er... and can you please don't steal utensils from kopitiams :P just buy your own!!!

Forks Forks Forks....
As Ning Said,301 Triangle are the best....
But So far, there are many types of 301 Triangles that I've seen. The one which I'm using is 301 but the triangle seems to be inside a inverted V.I'm starting to stop using that as my audiences complained that the forks are too soft when they themselves try to bend it.
The other 301 will be with the normal triange, that is the one I'm most comfortable with. But I'm unable to find it anywhere near me,the only time i used it was i took one from my school canteen.
Others like their lable at the bottom and stuff, better not use it.The other good type that I've seen is Stainless Steel 1008,those are the type I've been wanting to use,but of couse I think finger strength is best to train with softer ones.
And also, most people would normally use china stuffs. There are 301 Japan made too,but those are hard.So stick to china ^_^
