Hey fellow flourishers of SMC and Singapore, I have a interesting idea that will do flourishes proud.

So here it goes, just a rough idea.

We could get all the flourishers in Singapore, whether skilled or not. Flourish for like 24 hours, send it to Gusiness Book of World Records. We can try doing it during the December holidays. :P I think each one will only need to flourish for at most 1 hr.

C'mon and do flourishers worldwide proud! Make us known globally! Give a belated birthday gift to Singapore.

Thats is the GWR commitee wants to accept such a challenge.

I remember a few years back the UPSB wanted to do something similar but It was rejected because they said pen spinning isn't a form of 'challenging juggling'.

Apparently, they think contact juggling is child's play (but Yoyo isn't <_< )

I seriously doubt this will be pulled off well... a lot of us, myself included, don't have enough knowledge of flourishes and card manipulation in general to keep it all interesting for that long of a period in time. How long will it be till we all run out of stuff in our "arsenals"? Think of the most time-consuming flourish that there is. CTG is the first thing that comes to my mind, and even Bone's extended version takes no longer than a minute.

And there are 86,400 minutes in a day.

I mean, if you don't mind doing the same shit over and over and OVER again, then this might be a pretty cute entry in the Record book. But otherwise, it'll just be a time-endurance record, and nothing else. I think we'd want to aim a little higher than that :(

While planning for the rouinte in Magic Unlimited, all the moves i combined for freestyle did not e ven reach a minute, same for the citeria part.

So..

We can take a relaxed and happy approach to this event, unlike in a compeition. It's like a get-together have fun thing.

Well, just a suggestion to make us known. ;)

Well, for starters, perhaps we should have a get together, and just try to aim for an hour. Ya know, something like a test run. B)

If we can barely go past that mark, well then, how could we even imagine coming close to the 24 hour mark? :P

The '24hr Idea' would look more feasible, after the above mentioned session has been accomplished, I'd say. :g:

That's a prettie cuttie idea. I love, I mean yes! from now on I will try to keep my spring going on at least 15 minutes, and by doing just 4 springs I can complete full hour or shoot the card (maybe more than 1 card) into the air for 30 minutes then come back in another 30 minutes! defenately I will go and try that in the high way tomorrow! now I got my objective! yuppeee!!! Both Spring and Boomerang are very attractive to the audience, they always love to see. Anyone goes for this?
