normal wax would not stick, seriously. u can try. but there's one ammar's wax that is specially suitable for card to ceiling. however i(might be onli me) dun think the kind of wax can be use effectively for any normal use. it juz dun work so well for other stuffs..

You'll need m******n's wax. Normal wax will NOT work. It's not really neccessary to buy the one that Michael Ammar is marketing. In fact, you can find m******n's wax sold in huge sheets cheaply at an art and craft store if you know what you're looking for. I can't say what it is or it'll be considered a utility exposure.
Look properly at the ceiling you want to perform the effect on. Some ceilings are so bloody old and decrepit that you can't even get it to stick even if you had Elephant Glue.
Also, the method you use to throw the cards up dictates how well it'll remain stuck on the ceiling. But please...please don't do this in school. You don't want your teachers / lecturers to see that you're the cause of the numerous number of cards stuck on the ceiling and you don't want anyone to remove them because that'll ruin the effect. You want the cards to stick there and REMAIN stuck, so choose a ceiling that's high, use suitable wax, practice the throw and the neccessary card controls needed. Practice on the ceiling in your bedroom first. If you can't bother to remove the cards that are stuck, it's a pretty good way of redecorating and it suits the image of being a dedicated card magician.
