The question is the title actually. So yeah, how do you clean up dirty close up mat? It's not really dirty, but more like dusty. Are they washable?

Depending on whatv type of mat you're using, some are washable. You can try using masking tape to lift those lints/ dust.

Get some big rolls of duct tape, the kind that's really fat and thick in width. Stick an appropriate amount on the mat, layer-by-layer. Then, rip it all off slowly, which should take all the dirt and grub out of the mat.

If your mat is a sucky one, some of itself will invariably come off too :|

Uhm, since this is my first and only mat I have, I don't know whether this is a crappy one or not. Got it from Magic Supreme for about 16 bucks, if I'm not mistaken.
