it's an exclusive art indeed. This performance depicts the chinese gods and it isn't taught to just anybody. If u learned it, you'd better be performing it for religious purpose. (though contradictory to the performer at Jacky Wu's show.)
It's still a closely guarded secret which hasn't been leaked to "evil" marketers.

10 years. by then.. ..who knows =)

Ya right, It wont be so possible to leak out, as each of the students are carefully selected before the art is taught.
And i think there is a pledge to made to the "god" when learning this art.
I saw it once in Andy Lau's movie, and he learn it from a master after begging for a long time. And he onli taught Andy Lau on a few masks change.
Wow..

not true... the art has been passed to so many people... it's not exclusive anymore. The other time, one of them offer to teach it for a couple of thousand dollars at a IBM meeting... -.-

omg, is that true? but even so i won't learn it. Because i believe it's something to do with god and hold important chinese culture in it. Even if i learned it, i won't have the heart to perform it casually to others or make money from it.

dats one thing good about it it is an art, and not sumthing that ppl wil just brush of and say that cheh.. you know ? its mystical, and unlike magic, they treat it with a different kind of respect...
