Title: Lee Asher's Pacific Rim Lecture Tour
Description: Event of the Year
Kevin - September 9, 2005 08:13 AM (GMT)
Hey guys, Lee Asher HIMSELF is coming to Singapore to do a lecture, and it's going to be AMAZING. Here's the word from the man himself:
How would you like to eliminate all uncertainty from your sleight of hand
forever?
My name is Lee Asher, and I’ll be coming to lecture in your area ver soon.
If you have any interest in magic, this lecture has a great deal to offer. I
will reveal several sleight of hand techniques – I’ve tested these secrets in
the real world hundreds of times in front of real audiences. I know they work.
This magic will leave your audiences wanting more.
But that’s not all. After the lecture you’ll be energized, ready to unleash your
new magic on an unsuspecting and grateful public. When was the last time you
felt this way about your magic?
You probably have seen many lectures, own shelves full of books and DVD’s. Sure,
you’ve heard it all before. I’ve been doing magic for over twenty years, so I
too have a passion for new ideas and information. But this lecture offers more.
Together, we will bridge the gap between new ideas and real application. You’ll
be able to use these ideas. They’ll transform your magic.
To see these results, you only have to attend one lecture. You only need to give
two hours of your hard earned time. You have my word that the evening will be
well worth the effort. You have never seen material this powerful or techniques
this practical. I believe in my material and I’m excited to share my magic with
you.
I know you're probably skeptical.
That's normal and healthy.
But don't take my word for it, show up and find out for yourself.
See you there.

Magicdow - September 9, 2005 01:31 PM (GMT)
Hey, thaddeus. I'm getting pissed with your posts. You are posting for the sake of post counts. Can't you see the person infront of you has already asked the question?
And for your teacher's sake learn how to write properly.
P.S. Bayview Inn is very far from CCK MRT.
Blackwing - September 9, 2005 01:50 PM (GMT)
Its a real pity though, I ain't going for this. Too close to my exams. Damn.
Magicdow - September 9, 2005 01:52 PM (GMT)
hihs, the price is $40 for non IBM members (if you booked in advance). You need to pay an extra $5 at the door.

i'm going  already "reserved" a seat long time ago.. :)

Bayview Inn Hotel is closest to Dhoby Ghaut MRT, and even so it's a good 10-15min walk away. I would suggest taking a cab or meeting up at the MRT station first.

Then he asked me whether I am aware of the lecture at bay view at evening...I don't recognize him at first until he says he is Lee Asher.. Ermm..too bad i have something on or else i will go for the lecture.. :)

it must be the 1 that Lee Asher said that he show the kid the "asher twist"
really really enjoy it.
SeNgHoE - October 2, 2005 03:35 AM (GMT)
Lee was great,
Friendly as hell, and a skilled guy.
Signed a few stuff for us and a photo and i bought the Asher Twist DVD which i have not finished watching.
If he ever comes to Singapore again, i would definitely turn up.
dtjk - October 2, 2005 01:27 PM (GMT)
Yea, he was really really funny too. Definitely an extremely fun way to learn and enjoy magic.
However, I think I can only remember like 50% of the stuff, haha. Like Senghoe said, Lee was extremely friendly, all of us kept asking him to sign this and sign that, and not to say, the snapshots that he took with us with a wonderful smile.
Except the food part, the lecture was fantastic. Haha. ^_^

Uh! He talk about you at the lecture:) and yes, enjoyed everything, food does not really matter to me. Too bad I'm broke and don't have enough money, if not I'll surely buy some stuffs and they're quite cheap too!
And yeah, I love Asher twist.

Man! The event was great! He is a really friendly and good joker too. I can remember everything except the 3 stylin and 3 card monte. Are there vids around? It would really help if i could just watch the performance again. :)
Yeah.. If he comes around again, i'll not hesitate to book the first sit.
R_jayz - October 2, 2005 03:26 PM (GMT)
yeah, lee was great. he showed us even more tricks when the show ended. i could roughly remember everything except for the catch 33...
overall, the event was great, i should have saved up more money... the things he sold there were insanely cheap compared to regular pricing.
niquetan - October 3, 2005 04:20 PM (GMT)
For those of you who attended the lecture, I'd be happy to run through the sequences for Catch 33 and Three Stylin' with you. Do approach me if we meet and I'd be happy to help you out.
neotrident - October 4, 2005 08:28 AM (GMT)
Yup...the lecture is definitely great...
I love the trick where a zip-lock bag is invovled.
Lee is so friendly that he keep signing our stuff without complaining...
Dragon - October 5, 2005 06:27 AM (GMT)
If he ever comes again, remind him not to come on our exam period. :P
