I wanna get the tiger decks sometime soon. Anybody wanna get it together to save on shipping?

What's the best place to get it? I figure online shops should be cheaper but which online shop? Any recommendations?

Speaking about Tiger Decks... did u know there are apparently 2 versions? One consists of just all white prints and the other both red & white (red for the diamon, hearts suits)... I got the all white one for my best friend. They are just so cool for flourishes (any1 into flurishes?)

Initially, i thought you are refering to the Tiger Deck Edition One, which is out of sale right now and are taken as collectables..(you can find them at ebay, but, at USD 60)

well, it was a birthday gift *rolls eyes* :-) and my best friend was lucky that my pay check just came in... hahaha... tiger decks are very cool, but did u know your local mama store sells black tiger decks from china as well?

of course they look nothing like the ones from bicycle/usa playing card company... but the name's similar and it does have a 'snarling tiger on the front of the box'. i was just giggling to myself when i noticed it on the rack the other day and the ahneh was wondering what this crazy grrl was doing, grinning to herself as she paid for her yakult :-P

there are!!!! hahaha... see to believe ok. the quality is nothing like bicycle/ aladin (what do u expect from china/ taiwan?!) but i was just amused when i saw it... they look just like regular playing cards, so no funky reversed colors or effects (if you were actually hoping).

oh, don't borther buying them to check it out... you wouldn't like the feel/ touch of it and the visual graphics are just plain UGLY :-P

They are just plain playing cards that's too filmsy to perform anything...

But, it did reminds me of the first deck of cards that got me into magic...
The first deck i actually performed with is Aladin deck..it's made in US, but of inferior quality...(cuz, it's not air-cushioned )

btw, anyone here uses a bee deck?
(I feel they are much thicker and stronger than a tiger deck)

where do u get air cushion aladins by the way? the ones sold @ my mama shop are just the regular type... are they more expensive?

i have a dozen of bee decks( back no.67,No.92 club special ) bought it at ntuc at bukit timah plaza for just $4.25/pack.yea its the real thing wif the US seal.. air cushion finish but i cant seem to find the same bee deck i have on the net.btw is there air cushion alladdins :blink: mama shop sells for 2.90-3.00/pack 7-11,cold storage sell for $3.50

there really are air-cushion aladins out there by us bicycle co! you can double check with solomon, he'll show you his pack! i've seen them before too, at a mama shop but it was the last box and it was open and dirty and crummy and all so sadly couldn't buy it.

i know i'm blur sometimes but not thaaaat blur ;-) LOL...

as for the aladins... u r right about them not being air cushion bcos really, they aren't supposed to be. but there's apparently a batch that has air cushion finish to it and some people have purchased it... just havent had the luck :-P oh ya, no need for an 'apology' really. it's cool <g>

btw, the mama shop at shaw towers doesnt have the aladins with air cushion finish (tried and tested), so dont borther trying your luck... haha...

Is the tiger deck supposed to come with 1 extra card with a normal face but a tiger deck back? What is that for?

use it for a colour change using the "dark card" meathod or just sticky tape or double lifts

yup, there's actually 2 special cards... one slanted ace of spades (black tiger) and one 'regular' looking card, if i remember it was the 3S. just for effect of changing a 'regular white faced card deck' into blacked cards... and the slanted ace is cute too, hahaha...

nope, to be exact, it came with TWo extra card, one normal 3c plain card with black back, and the other is a tilted Ace S card..

as for routine with it(thw two cards), u may like to pm me, haha..:)
