I have enough of the really irritating minority group who still cannot get it into their head that PIRACY of magic is frowned upon in SMC, and try to go around by privately messaging people with their "offers", or asking people to add them on MSN only to sell pirated videos from there.
So I have decided to implement this new rule.

The Rule:
There will be no posting of personal contact details of any kind publicly in anywhere in the forum, except for the organiser who are organising SMC events and outings. All correspondance should be sent thru PM or use the email button.


Contact information includes:
- Phone numbers
- Email addresses
- MSN/ICQ/Friendster/etc etc contact
- Any other information that allows others to contact you.

These are not allowed in:
- Your message body
- Your profile info
- Your signature
- Anywhere else that will allow everyone to see it.

If contact has to be established between forumites outside, they can exchange numbers privately in emails and/or PMs.

So if anyone has their email/MSN/other contact info/etc etc in their signature or profile or has posted it in a post, please edit it asap.


I would also like to inform everyone at this point that administrative powers allows certain mods and admins to view PM and email contents sent between forumites.
I would like to assure everyone that I'm not so free to go read everyone's message. But I fully reserve the right to read backlogs of PMs and/or emails to verify any reports of piracy.
