Bertram change, SAC, OAC. Those are the moves taught on the DVD. All in all it is not a bad DVD for beginners to start off with. The sleights taught can be incorporated into your own effects or you can just do those that Oz demonstrates on the DVD. 7/10.

First, I have to say that it is an OK video.
The effects inside seems good, but the steps to get to the effects are long. Very beginner based effects. Not really suitable for close up street magic. Some.
Wat i will recommend on this video are its principals in the effects. The principals inside teach u alot and it will help u in ur future or present effects.

Many fundamental moves, something you should learn right after you got 'Born to Perform', its a little more advanced than the basic moves like DL, pas*....
My opinion is that its a good vid for knowledge, but if you're kind who likes impromptu stuff, you might not like it. The tricks here also need lotsa practice before starting on your specs.
Anyway, Oz teaches well too, as also in his other vids..

Sincerely, I don't think the tricks on Stealing Pips are worth it. However Stealing pips teaches several powerful sleights and methods.
1) Betram Change
2) SAC move
3) Dirty deck principle
These 3 techniques make the dvd worth it. Oh and IC3 is pretty good.

honestly, i don't think either 3 are 'useful'.
How often do you perform them, live?
BuaYa - October 14, 2005 06:45 PM (GMT)
Hmm. I know I use the Sac move all the time.

hmm, yea the SAC move is pretty useful. i've been practising it but dont know if im doing the right thing, they never disappear.
The trick 'Thought Force' is also cool, and the 'out' amazes as well.

Betram change is the nicest and the hardest colour change one can learn...easy to expose also. Must perform the colour change quite a distance away... No one in this world have come out with the dirty card trick except Oz. I rate it 8/10 as most of the trick requires quite alot of preparation- injogging cards and a table for ribbon spread.. The good thing about this video is that OZ DEMOSTRATE HIS TRICKS TO DIFFERENT PRETTY LADY..

Hmmm, good point. I use the dirty deck principle pretty often. Betram change, sometimes. Yep actually I don't use the SAC move much.
EXCEPT when I'm doing IC3 ( which I have only done, twice ).

Been doing the bertram quite alot. Twist and shake is also quite common. I guess the DVD is meant for those who are more into table work than stand-up, stroll around magic.
