Hi everyone! I'm not too sure if I'm too "old" for this forum - 34/M - but I'm really glad that I've come across the Singapore Magic Circle. It's great to have a local forum like this. Kudos to the people who started this. Although forums like Magic Cafe and Genii are great, it's just wonderful to have something Singaporean. I think I came across this forum on Google.
I was very much into magic when I was a kid, and have come back again to it in the past 2 years or so. It was probably Blaine who sparked my interest in it again -I guess I just enjoyed the way he brought magic to the people. I enjoy the "rawness" of close-up magic, particularly with cards, and mentalist effects. I've never really been keen on stage illusions, although I enjoy watching them.

Welcome to the forum TCH, and no, you are not too old for this forum, you are not even the most "mature" person in here :)
Yes, here, you can not just talk about sleights and effects with people 1/2 the world away, but you can actually meet up on a sunday afternoon or a thursday night to exchange gimmick/material/tip/performances. You will find that we have quite a lot of activities and outings constantly, just cooled down these couple of weeks coz lotsa of our scholars are preping for their exams.
Well enjoy your stay and hold you have you contributing regularly soon.

Im 24.... older than most of these guys and gal(s) here too! lol... but i guess age does not matter man.. as long as we have the magic spirit lifted up in us.. age has no boundaries. wat magic are u most into?

I must confess, i was seriously skeptical before i met kevin, I mean, been a magic hobbist longer than you guys have been alive :lol: :lol: ...but O........K.................woohoo....
