Title: Lawrence Khong Interview

Anyone caught the Lawrence and Priscilla in the interview on Channel 8 last night?
A very interesting interview I thought. And gives a much more down to earth and holistic view of the magic performers' lifestyle, and the pains and efforts behind the effects. Maybe with that, magic will be taken with a more (correct and) respected attitude in singapore.
I really feels that interview brings magic closer to a performing arts level locally.
Nice. B)

I was especially moved about him sharing about his and his daughter's story.
Everyone makes mistakes in life, but not all has the courage to share something that's still somewhat of a taboo in our society so openly. And face up to it and handle it dispite the really difficult decisions to be made. It is especially true considering his position in FCBC.
Seperately, I thought the interview really gave a look about the going ons behind the magical effects, without the dazzle and fanfare of the "magic" but the human aspect. Maybe that will open up the general society's view of magic and the magician to that of a performance artist. B)

The interview was great. Was really surprised when he was telling all the public about what had happen to his daughter. It really takes a lot of courage to do so since people may just start talking about his family after the interview was telecast.
Basically, the interview really show how his family was united into the magic productions. His wife left her job as a doctor to become a producer for him.
I respect him a lot now. :)

Yes, it was a good interview. But unfortunately I only managed to catch the last 10mins of the show.
We get to see another side of Lawrence Khong.
