Description: buying from ellusionist

teth - October 27, 2005 09:32 AM (GMT)
hi all. i bought the ellusionist quick start super bundle recently. cost me about $200.

after reading through the threads in the forums i realised that i can get the videos cheaper at other webbies.

so just want to ask if i can find the stuff that ellusionist sells elsewhere? like stuff by daniel garcia and joe sankey. maybe on other webbies that sell it for cheaper? or maybe even in singapore?

thanks in advance. i just dont wanna make the same mistake of buying overprices stuff.

U must be damn loaded to get the Ellusionist bundle. ^_^

For the Ellusionist videos, it is only sold in its website I believe. If u buy from other places it would probably be pirated. For stuffs like Daniel Garcia's and Jay Sankey's, u might want to do a search online to find the best price, or just get in from our lovely TLMS. :D

ah. okay. thanks! didn't know its jay sankey. sorry haha.

how do i buy stuff from TLMS? sorry I'm kinda unfamiliar with the forums. thanks!

(the e-bundle was a mistake. tsk.)

You can e-mail the little magic shop or you can check out marketplace for second hand DVD :D

Don't they have their prices there?

yeah. ellusionist has either the same prices or a bit more for the dvds. so im guessing the complains about overpricing only relates to the ellusionist videos?

haha. yeah i forgot his name

anyway, what are the best dvds for learning passes and the ambitious card routine? like the stuff taught in ellusionist's ninja and crash course 2. cause i wanna learn those but i dont wanna buy any more of E's videos.

Born to perform by oz pearlman. I'd recommend this to everyone regardless of skill level. It teaches the fundamentals of card magic. And yes, there's a pass in it so learn it well.

i just search for oz pearlman's dvd and turned up quite a lot of great reviews... seem like a good investment. Besides online, anyone in singapore sell this?

yes, as a beginner, its recommended that you start off with Born to Perform.Covers most of the basic moves, that once you learn them, your friends will know you as a magician.
