don't go 4 it... i've seen the notes 4 this (by some other guy)... its not all that practical... coz u can;t really borrow a note and do the trick...
but there is a step u can use 4 inspection...

erm... stick with the haunted deck... much better...

I think this was known as Self-folding bill. This effect can be found in books and I think Ammar's Easy to Master Money Miracles.

the haunted bill imo can be quite strong if presented properly... no difficult sleights involved, but the main problem is the gimmick. the gimmick "spoils" very easily and i think this cannot be done close up(the spectator needs to be quite far away, so if they take a close look when you are folding the bill you have a high chance of getting busted...

anyone of you does it, i have problem when i'm folding the second time. it always get stuck ;)

If you have problem folding the second time that means that your note is too new and crisp.... Try doing it with older bills.....

And yes it would be good to stand about a 1.5m away from the audience when performing this.... ^_^

I don't like this trick. It has some major flaws. I found the instructions for it on some free magic site. it was in ebook form.

actually it can be done pretty close just need to find a matching gimmick and place it at the correct position

I have done this trick to some friends before. Bad thing is that when you keep a distance people will suspect more. A common problem with quite a lot of gimmick tricks.

I think as long as it is impromptu and unexpected , people will be fooled and some taken aback by this effect.

Usually i will do some funny / simple tricks on a money note and then slowly build up the fact that some money notes are spiritual and was pre-owned by bomohs.

On money tricks, during chinese new year when your mum gets all the small changes in stacks do take out matching serial numbers like

OCT 717629 and OCT 717639 or something like that. wear then out in the same fashion and you have an immediate switch. Convincing if used wisely.

hmm, i have both the haunted deck and haunted bill. the "gimmick" for haunted bill does not spoil. well i got it from ellusionist , from their method, i used it for quite a long time now and is still working fine. where as the "gimmick", i used the same as with the haunted deck.

i usually tell my friends about the haunted deck and bill. the excuse i gave was since you see the name is "haunted" thus it will only happen in dark places. so go some where not so bright.( i usually do it at night) thus u can do both the trick close up with them, they just infront of you and won't see anything..

let me share my method.
this is what i usually do with the "haunted" tricks. go somewhere scary/dark/errie or whatever. then introduce my friend beside me(lets say female ghost)
of course they wont see it, its invisible. so just to build up the scary feeling to them,then you can make a story if you want. they will say you talking crap of course and don't believe it.

so now prove them wrong with the haunted tricks.

the haunted deck= give them a card, then put it back in then say my friend will find the card for me. they will of course think of an invisible hand pushing the deck and taking out the card.

haunted bill= same introduction of ghost friend, then show the bill fold by itself.(to them by the ghost)

so this is one example of how it can be done close up(dark places cover the gimmick, but not too dark or they will suspect. just make sure its enough to cover the gimmick) and also being able to frighten them.

so i can say this method is a kill 2 birds with one stone as the trick is a success and you can also scare them.

for me i will do the haunted bill suddenly and they will not know what to execpt so they will not focus to find out how its done...

if the gimmick i well constructed it will last for sometime
