Hi there...

I was checking through the list of what i learnt when i first started magic.
I came across this effect called street magic. It's about how a mathematican, psychic and a magician find a card in various ways. i remember the moves etc, but can't recal how many cards to begin with.

I hope you would be able to remind me.

*there is another one called spotless. Anyone learnt it before? I seek to remember the effect. I'll try to recal the moves once i remember the effect.

16 cards. This trick is quite cool right. I love this trick and is completely self working. In the end for the magician the card is the only different colour. I guess if u were to perform this to another magician, they may find it out in a short while, so perhaps is better only on laymen.

oh wow.. thanks. oh yah. can i please ask the 2nd part, the red card is suppose to tell us what number right? but mine seems to be always not the thought of number..

i was jus reading this effect from a book i bought from Kev (Wow almost a year).

Its called "Duelling with Cards" by Jon Ranerbaumer, as i recall, not "Street Magic" that u speak of.

Anyway, it utlise a principle discovered by Alex Elmsley. And the red back has nothing to do with the method. Its only for the "color change"

If you did the mathematician part correctly, the rest of it will work. Then as you count the cards, their number will be at the red card. Then just name it and they should get a shock.

hmm.. i can get the math part right. The card is where it should be..

But the psychic part, the number doesnt tally with the persons..

I tried it on myself..

So card is 5th.. After math, 5th goes to where it should be.

then 2nd part psychic, unique card says it's number 8.

gosh.. really sorry never do for a long time le..
