Levitation of paper rose effect.

First of all, any nice tips to share?

I have a problem.. In fact i dont know if it's a problem or a fact that such things happen when you perform it.

1) after i have wound around the flower with my "prop/gimmick". I start to perform.
A) The flower seems to be side ways. (is there a recommended method to go round the flower with my "prop")
B) the prop slowly unwinds as the flower moves around and soon, the flower is loosen.. It falls if you continue to perform.


I hope to be able to catch some really nice tips from all of you professionals here.
