hey can someone tell me more about this trick?? needs gimmick?
how much?? cool? difficultyz?

exohordon - December 22, 2005 01:58 PM (GMT)
Its by Dean Dill. So it has to be cool.

Requires only one move.

Some consider it bold.
Some feel it flies by.

whaleson - December 22, 2005 02:00 PM (GMT)
needs blank deck only huh? how much is one?

wEn - December 22, 2005 02:07 PM (GMT)
i think penguin magic got a demo video on that... is quite a nice trick :)
you can go and see how it is perform... :g:

Ben - December 22, 2005 02:18 PM (GMT)
No need gimmicks. I think it's a great trick worth learning.

whaleson - December 22, 2005 02:36 PM (GMT)
yea, but need another deck of blank deck?

how much is blank deck

Niktra - December 22, 2005 02:42 PM (GMT)
It needs more than just a blank deck. If u are interested in the effect, I suggest u buy the effect, as u will be given a blank deck, and an extra 'something'.

Theres a move in the effect that many magicians considered too bold, but in actual fact your spectator never ever notice it. Just need the right amount of misdirection, and it will become very easy to pull off.

Blizzard is a very good effect. Get it. ;)

iNvIsIbLe - December 22, 2005 02:47 PM (GMT)
Yupz. Blizzard is a nice trick. If you manage to do the trick and get over to bluff the audience, I can guarantee that your audience will be speechless. HaHa. Well, you can check out at here

whaleson - December 22, 2005 02:48 PM (GMT)
where can i get the effect ?? bugis the magic shop has it? anyone knows it's price?

iNvIsIbLe - December 22, 2005 02:53 PM (GMT)
Yes. if i am not wrong, should be range from 40-50 bucks. It is a packet trick by Dean Dill.

whaleson - December 22, 2005 03:02 PM (GMT)
OUCH!

Jeremy - December 22, 2005 04:04 PM (GMT)
Don't get it.

Simply cos it's gonna excite you for about 1 week or so, then it'll collect dust at home, just because its not something you'll do anything, anywhere.

the misdirection that comes with blizzard, doesn't quite make sense.

whaleson - December 22, 2005 04:39 PM (GMT)
haa thanks pal. think i'm giving it a miss for now!
thanks anyway. i'll still get it in the future i think. for now, i think piority is to get a job. haha

Incarneto - December 23, 2005 02:48 AM (GMT)
Haha.. blizzard is a trick people really remembers.. even after a year?! lol~ wonderful

Ben - December 23, 2005 05:10 AM (GMT)
Yeah, it's something people will remember for a long time. It ends clean, totally examinable.

The blank deck should cost about $15. You can always use the blank deck for other blank deck effects as well. It will not go to waste.

<Aaron> - December 27, 2005 02:44 PM (GMT)
hey ben.. is there any dealer that you know of in singapore that i can get blank deck from?

iNvIsIbLe - December 27, 2005 03:07 PM (GMT)
Well, you can get blank deck from any magic shop. :)

GordonLi - December 27, 2005 04:03 PM (GMT)
this is really good. even if you dont perform it, you learn a great idea.

I recommend it to all, regardless of your specialty.

Yeah dude, you can get it from any magic shop.

<Aaron> - December 28, 2005 03:28 PM (GMT)
thanks guys..will look out and try to sneak out to buy it.. parents really frown on magic..mom says its gambling..dad sides mum..(grumbles..) but anyway thanks!!! ;)

Ace - March 11, 2006 04:46 AM (GMT)
I peronally prefer the invisible deck or brainwave deck... although the cards can't be inspected (well actually can if u do a S*****) Its short and sweet! As 4 blizzard... I dunno but some of the audience might smell something fishy... Try switching methods... Do a Invisible deck today then do the blizzard another day...Haha they'll scream HE DID IT AGAIN!! But they can never figure out how switch methods and will believe that u can really predict the future haha!

whaleson - September 27, 2006 12:31 PM (GMT)
yea, it's kinda simple to figure out, for me..

so it needs a blank deck and a SOMETHING... the "d**k" ...
Does all magicshops sell that too? or do i have to make it myself?

muscleaxl - September 27, 2006 12:51 PM (GMT)
Eh, whaleson, Blizzard doesn't need a gimmick, so you don't need to anything yourself or go to magic shop (if you are thinking of buying a "Blizzard gimmick"). This trick is really about GUTS.. for you to pull it off.

But like what Ace said, I preferred using ID for the same effect.

Post deleted due to exposure.

Erm.. if possible, please support the original idea, you watch the video, heck it, then make it out by yourself... How is that going to credit the creator? as what they mention earlier, even if you pay a little more to buy the product from the creator, you learn a cool idea, plus your blank will be super handle next time, if you are learning tricks with blank deck.

binaryzero_1 - September 28, 2006 02:35 AM (GMT)
Whaleson, i suggest go get a stripper deck and be happy, coz u can do lots from that deck itself. Rather than buying just a single trick that cost like 40 bucks. And stripper can be examine, theres some effect explained in the deck also that are written in a paper. U'll surely got a few of good ideas after buying that deck. ;) ;) :g:

Then use UNO card or ESP cards instead of poker ones.

Then they would not say anything about gambling.

yea.. but sometimes, when you know how it kinda works, no point buying too.. i understand where you coming from lefty. No offence.

Sorry about the exposure, it's kinda hard to describe the "item" without exactly exposing! ha forget it then. Thanks anyway.

muscleaxl - September 28, 2006 10:38 AM (GMT)
Eh... actually I think Whaleson didn't get it right.

There is absolutely no need for any gimmicks (blanks are not really gimmicks) in this effect, except for a "move".

Ace - September 28, 2006 12:46 PM (GMT)
I think i know what gimmick whaleson is talking about.

I don't think that that gimmick is 100% needed. You can use that gimmick if you want.

A move can be used to serve the function of the gimmick hence you can perform Blizzard without using any gimmicks.

whaleson - September 28, 2006 12:51 PM (GMT)
thanks dude. yea, i'm not refering to the Deck "itself".

I'm not really a gimmick fanatic, but sometimes i feel they have a huge effect on layman.

Yea. IMO that is.
