Title: Infusion
Description: by GEIR BRATLIE

dimsumdemon - December 23, 2005 01:56 AM (GMT)
Ok...this one is old school, if you are a fan of magic magazine, you'll probably already know how to do this. If you are not, you will still be able to figure out this.

The teaching material isn't long. the way GEIR BRATLIE did it, with practice, is speed and precision. he will touch on minor points. Its easy to do. You can use bottles instead to improvise it. It looks more amazing.

Large motion covers small motion. Daniel garcia's project has some coin through glass stuff too, but harder to do.

After looking through all this coin tricks, theres still no one doing a decent muscle pass video to sell on the market.

anyway, infusion is some of the old school tricks which i forgotten if i haven't seen geir did it again. lolx. I hope I won't see everyone doing this at pubs and clubs.

Seriously.. There seems to be a "flash" in the E prevew for infusion..

Downloaded the preview clip from Ellusionist. Like what you mentioned is true, speed and precision is key to this trick. Looks like I just save myself USD15.95 as I wanted to buy the DVD.

Actually, John Cornelius already has a video out on the muscle pass.

Lousy effect. I have a version where the cap of the bottle is still on. Signed coin too.

Daraketh - December 25, 2005 04:24 AM (GMT)
what's the name of the version?

kryptikalism - December 25, 2005 04:52 AM (GMT)
I haven't got a name for it. Just been doing it for laymen.

That's how I found out at first.
But it looks more like a "video" trick to me. Correct me if I'm wrong.

If "Infusion" is not done properly or w/o practice it will lead to exposure for sure! :ph43r:

It is not really video trick, but to me more of a classic. :)

Theres another version of this done in coke bottles which i have seen a friend done. coke bottle capped. I'll see if i can dig the name out. One of the underground penertration tricks.

Magicdow - January 2, 2006 09:21 AM (GMT)
I think you''re refering to Abyss - The Ultimate Coin in Bottle trick Nicholas Bengston.

Not really an underground effect. You can get this from most dealers.

Do you mean dealers in this forum? If so how much does it cost?

Magicdow - January 2, 2006 02:00 PM (GMT)
Its available almost everywhere. Do a Google and you'll even be able to find a demo on it.

I was thinking if there is someone out there in the forum having it.. ^_^

dimsumdemon - January 3, 2006 08:55 AM (GMT)
hmm...maybe im old, i thought most of this stuff came from underground magicians. While i was in HK i saw some really neat stuff too. well maybe im wrong, lolx

Hmm.... This trick is rather simple.... Hmm.. everyone sees through it... I mean the magis here.... Yeah. So if you really want to get it.Yeah. The video probably edited as its not so impressive when its done in front of you... Its too obvious if its done straight in your face

Well, alot of inventions are by chinese. Just that the Ah Mogs, know how to market well, so in the end, they are the one who market it first.

But not saying that Americans are not good. I respect alot of foreign inventors also. I mean magic. So if you have a good original effect and you din publish it, or show it in a video, when ppl did the same kind of effect as u but publish it. U cant jump around and say you made the effect.

As for Infusion, if did correctly, you can make alot of ppl believe that the coin penerate the glass. :)
