Recently i went into MMF and saw them talking about MMF T-Shirts / Polo-T...

Guess perhaps the SMC members can come out with a few designs and personalised a T-Shirt / Polo-T for SMC....

Sense Of Belonging... Hope suggestion can be consider...

Great!! count me in too.. ya. about the cards.. no news? i think both polo and tee will look good.

why not we print a trick tee like E. so in other hand we can do a rountine or trick using the tee/polo. :D haha. (just a idea)

IF you guyz are interested, i think maybe you should come out with a design competition and get the best design? :D

design competition? the cards idea also had a design competition concept.. the cards idea died off.. hope this doesnt..

Great man..! I also support this. Maybe is easier to make SMC T-shirt because it is definitely not too much work than the card printing. ;)

It had been a year yet nothing came out of it...
Com'on having a SMC Polo-Tee is easier than having the SG customised playing cards...

perhaps it's not the printing company we are looking for now....

but someone who can make decision for SMC Polo-Tee to be approved..

then we will come out with lots of design to choose the best out of it...

Well, First of all, Who should be the one who should buy the T-shirt, Any SMC member?

The key thing is, once you wear the Shirt, U repersent SMC, If 1 bad sheep is wearing SMC T-shirt and present magic in the wrong way, then its bringing bad link about SMC.

But i think the committee will surely come about this proposal. We wont talk about creating a recongization icon until the forum become solid and more firm with lots of contribution and committements by the members.

Well i guess, this topic is going to be like the one that happened one year ago...

Sometimes i fell that SMC members should be more active in the conversations, otherwise, its no point of us to talk about it, the final decisions is made by them..

Yup, That is correct. The Admin or the Founders of SMC can just make bulk orders of T-shirt and then sell them for money. But that doesnt serve the purpose of being in SMC and setting up SMC.

So it is only when the current members prove their worth, or i should say, made high committment to this society that we can be a real "club" outside and then when we have incoming activities that we can use our name, then SMC T-shirt will come into play. No point wearing and ppl keep asking you what is SMC when SMC is not public yet. :)

i would say, if you guyz are really interested in getting it, maybe the polo-t or t-shirt should only be cater to those SMC members, admins and founders. AT least they display their contributions to SMC and most probably will somewhat uphold the image of SMC, if i am not wrong those SMC members by now should have a good foundation of magic. :)

well, i believe if any t-shirt, polo-t to be made, i don't want it to spell M-A-G-I-C explicitly...

c'mon someone host a design competition and make this done.. really looking forward to it..

I guess the SMC polo Tee should only be for SMC members (eg. pple like ning, farid, aloy etc)... Since SMC used to have a peer system, perhaps SMC Polo Tee can be part of the gift awarded to the guy who cleared the "test"...

friendly speaking, i had meet up with few members of this circle, they felt that the magic in this circle is die and fading aways. :huh:

i guess is time to put in some life into the circle, but who?? ;)

i am a family man, i guess most of the family man or women having the same reason. ^_^

we had to work real hard for tommorrow feed, and after a hard day work what we wanted was a bath and a bed. B)

so i really hope that anyone can help this circle to be "magic" once again. :)

Ya, I have to agree to what MAD have to said, Thats why some of the members are getting up the meeting and gathering to look for fresh blood that are willing to put time and efforts into this circle.

It is not easy to run a place that dont have any physical benefits to you without a strong passion. :)

I think there are always few things to consider,not to be sour or anything,but I think this topic might just fade off like the previous ones if not carried out soon.But hey,I'm with this idea,it is a good idea!Not trying to act smart or anything,but here are some of my views....

-Bulk orders,who would wanna bring out the first cost?(Sorry I don't know what is that called)

-I agree with Lefty,these T-Shirts should only be available to Admins,Mods and the founders.As Larry Said,someone can just wear the shirt and go stealing.

-What will you do when you see someone you don't know wearing the T-shirt in Orchard running around?

I know beach road army market can do computer embroidery on polo tees..

checked before, each Tee plus design should be in the range of $30-40. That was for polo, I think..

for Silkscreen, costs may be cheaper [ Shirt still same price ]

depending on quantity, some silkscreen production houses may not want to do the business if it is small scale or non repeating type.

IMHO, Embroidery is better because it lasts longer and looks more professional...

In the first place, is there a design?

Or just use the M logo with the text Singapore Magic Circle as in the logo and text of the top of page?

The logo and words would look great at the back of the polo... then in front put another logo...

Actually...i really don't mind it...

As long as you not making it for sale, you can do what you will of it. Print it, embross it, tattoo it.....etc
