hey guys.. i am aaron from SJI(duh..) in the class of 207..and would like to know is there any magicians in SJI? haha want to start a society but not sure if it is a good idea..no people to support how to propose idea?

you wont be able to control who is going to join the society and i'm sure there will be ppl joining this society just to know how a trick is done... the amount of "magicians" or those who know bout magic is more than enough, more ppl know about magic will only ruin this art...

well i dont think it will be good to start a magic society like what i_neverregret said... some people just join to know how a trick is done... and after that they spread like a virus....
the best is to have a group of friends... that do magic, as in you know that they are real magicians... not fakes... and just chill out and exchange tips :D

i dont really know many magicians from my school, i think theres about 4 from my school... not much but still cool to know other magicians :)

I'm a St Mike's and St Pat's old boy as well. Left St Mike's in '97, and St Pat's in 2001. Great times in those schools.

These cheeky fellers at SJI wanna change our primary school to St Joseph's Junior School. What nonsense. We must band together and protest.

No such thing bro, they should not be changing the name, period. They should respect the fact that each school has it's own name.

haha yeh not many magicians, in my school.... sad..... most of the others do like for fun... but only afew do it fo real....

haha yep.. just like my school..that time teacher's day a few guys performed "magic" on stage..just used some flimsy props..then it was over..thought they were magicians but they were just students forced into doing something entertaining to bring a smile to the teacher's face.. :angry: my school has almost none magicians?? which is weird because the library had this magic book that had lots of check outs meaning many people borrowed it.. haizz..

I just thought since they are in your school, maybe you can help them a little, you know...
clear up some of their misconceptions about magic as a performance that they might have and show them acceptable behaviours befitting of magicians....;)

They might have been misled/misguided previously about certain aspect of magic, i thought. B)

Hello everyone, thanks for the visit to my post, i was into magic about six months ago, but then quit when my membership expired at a magic shop.

Anyway, to cut to the chase, i am a sec 1(young ain't i :ph43r:) in SJI, the best school ever.

i heared that a teacher called Mr.su in my(or our) school who is actually interested in magic.

I also found a few books on magic.

Your teacher, Mr Su, is a real cardician and has one of the most scary gambling routines I've seen.
You should definitely seek him out and bai him wei shi...if you can convince him in the 1st place. I heard he's pretty strict about who he takes in. ;)

Mr. Su is very good looking too, close-up-man :wub: So besides his fantastic card skills, he slays people in other ways as well. Just don't search this forum for more info on the other kind of books he reads (non-magic related)... ahehehehehehe... welcome to the SMC family by the way ;) Hope to see you at our meetings!
