I was wandering, during my 1st week in SMC, i remembered that i saw ning"s post and when i refer back to the old time post, there are actually many female magicians around here in SMC.

So, WHERE ARE ALL THE GIRLS???

Because i have never met a female magician, and i would be really looking forward to see one doing a Dlift. :D

Hmm, Nope.. I dun remember only seeing 2 gals in SMC. Hmm, Ning is busy with her work and studies. So you wont get to see her that often liao. As for her magic acts, long time since i seen her perform. :) Ling is very good in flourishing, din see her perform much also. (She can execute more than a DL) :P

so far, i only know one lady magician and that is Princess Tenko.... even got her own cartoon series..

Guess the ratio is always male dominated...

It's a wonder since women are known to be the ones with niftier hands/fingers.

Call me a flourish maniac. :P

As for magic, I do really simple stuff, mainly cards stuff, perhaps some linking rings and spoon bending.

There are definitely quite some female magicians around. We have well known female magicians in Singapore too (Priscilla Khong).

Answer to Lefty's question: Maybe girls have tighter restrictions at home. Like me. I am not allowed to go the meeting on 18th cos my parents dun allow.Reason: i am a gal. :( So you probably won't meet me at all... :(

And well, yeah, I agree with yong_tianadeline. Tight restrictions. I can't come on the 18th either. I know my parents won't let me, so I shan't bother asking. Besides, it's a school night...

Not to be sterotypical but there are very little female magicians, what i think its not pratical for girls to do dangerous tricks like razor blades and thoes big stage saw into two kinda stuff, they are usally the assistant, its always us guys that saw them into two haha...
but never the less there are still female magicians out there who are famous, just cant rember their names... and theres the girls here in the fourm like Ling and the rest :)
well i hope there would be more female magicians soon haha the guys are like the one running the show haha :D
