I love card tricks that are simple yet gives a great blow to the audiences. :P
I like doing passes as its quick and simple too! :)
I learnt most of the tricks from the 'Ellusionist' vids and 'penguin magic'...

i used to like card tricks also..
until the point when i realised that its quite difficult to bring deck of cards with u...
then i diversified to other stuff like floating bottle on wall, coins, fork/spoon, deadman's cuffs, cigarettes, etc.
Plus, showing too much card tricks and u might just lose the gambling card kakis..
haha...

try picking up spoon bending..
else coin tricks are also good.
since u are starting , u might wanna practise some flairs with coins and cards also...
