Title: Any Way To Apply High Gloss?

Hi guys, is there any way I can apply "high gloss" to furniture to make it look like those polished plastic look? ^_^
I'm redoing my room for the New Year and my theme was "Retro" but I did not have enough $$ to buy those really nice retro furniture so I'm DIYing my own <_<

DIY wont be easy.
U need to sand the wood furnitures before u can apply the gloss to it.. Its very very hard. I can tell u that.
I suggest you ask ur nearby furniture dealer for help. :)
