anyone who know or have gotten the trick "Abyss" from ellusionist (its a coin or key to bottle effect)
can u tell me whether is it a worth buy?
is it convenient to perform?

it is a coin through bottle and key through bottle effect, it can be done with rings and other small objects too. The effect is definitely powerful if done well but the prep work is there, it isnt very long but its there. If you dont mind the prep work for a killer effect then go for it.

The best thing is that the bottle(with the coin in it) can be given out as a gift for them to marvel at. And the coin WILL not be able to come out from the bottle unless you cut it up. The handling for the effect during performance is rather clean too.

It is definately not a "pick a bottle and key/coin from anywhere then do" trick.

i own the product.

i can agree with llamalamer that some preparation is needed... but the effect is a killer..

bottle can be handed out as a gift. there is no way the spectators will find anything wrong with the bottle.

u can just prep the bottle at home and perform it once a day.

just take out ur bottle, finish up the drink and ask some1 for a coin. do the trick and give the bottle away.

Guys, i need to know something about this. Is any & every bottle(plastic/glass etc) made this effect possible, as long as you prepared it ?
In another sense, i can use ANY bottle + ANY coin or small objects after preparation has been done?
Also, can this effect be done with the bottle unopened? So as to say i can use ANY brand new bottle of drink(unopened)?

u cant use glass bottles, only those plastic ones.

and yes u can use any small object once its prep. of coz that depends on what u prep it with.

and u can do the trick with the cap still on the bottle.

why not get Sinful instead if you are looking for coin thru can trick.

it's impromptu and much simpler..minimal sleight of hand and no setup. just pick up a can drink and a coin..here you go! :P

yeah.. try Sinful instead. Its one of my impromptu fav trick. As for abyss, i find the effect cool but its just like Healed and Sealed can if you own that.

Abyss and Sinful both are killer effects...each have their own advantage and disadvantage...


Sinful advantage: The coin can be signed! The can is a normal can you don't need to do anything to prepare the can. The coin is normal as well.

Sinful disadvantage: In Singapore not all the cans can be used to peform sinful...

Abyss advantage: The coin is really stuck inside the bottle!! impossible to get it out!!

Abyss disadvantage: The coin CANNOT be signed. You have to prepare the bottle and bring it with you....( or if you can plant it inside a rubbish bin but if the thing get lost inside the bin then good luck!)

hmm i will disagree with the SInful's disadvantage,

to minimize exposure, i would just say, all the cans in Singapore is suitable for the performance of this trick. ^_^

What i'm trying to do here is list out the difference between Sinful and Abyss.... because the previous post just mention Sinful is also a good coin through something trick ...so i think it would be good to list out the advantage and disadvantage of both so people can compare and see which one they prefer.....

i would like to add something. Its not very hard to do the set up you just need to do it more often or something and please do not forget that the coin is STUCK inside of the bottle! :!!: and after the trick you can hand it out for them to get the coin out which is funny. :D

o_O impossible? Mine works fine with all singapore coins.

Maybe there is something wrong with your gimmick. Maybe its not "good" enough.

You mean you cannot even complete the set up?
Or the set up fails easily during performance?

For me there is no problem at all, jus need to be gentle when performing.
