I personally had a very bad experience with my purchase from penguinmagic. I bought the collector's money maker which cost about USD 70 plus as i had wanted to buy that long ago. Big mistake. When it arrived, my money maker was faulty. the magnetic strip had came completely off fromt he handler. The board was chipped in several places. I was really very disappointed. I requested for a replacement, which they did, but the replacement still had the strip peeling off quite a bit. (I had to pay for the shipment to ship back the faulty one which i think is ridiculous! ) No apologies or any discount on their side. After this incident, i seldom buy from penguin again (unless they had those holiday offer, which is very tempting to me :rolleyes: )
I don't think they do any QC before shipping out.
I guess the lesson learned is not to buy those magic trick which is very costly, and may be prone to damage easily especially during shippment. That will caused you qute a bit if your purchase turned out to be an unpleasant one.
Btw, their shipment is quite slow when you compared to other website, like ellusionist.
