Title: Amaze Or Amuse?

blueheaven - January 25, 2006 03:16 AM (GMT)
Hi guys, just wondering, which type of magician are you?
Are you one who mostly does tricks to amaze people and leave them awestruck or are you one who mostly does tricks to amuse them (like perform to kids to make them happy)?

You might have done both but vote on the one which you more commonly do :P

Personally, I do both.

I will somehow always put amazement before amusement. If i wanted to amuse others, i should be something like a clown... or a stand up comedian.

whatever.

My point being, that being a MAGICIAN, makes me different in the area of entertainment. My game is entertainment through AMAZEMENT, not AMUSEMENT.

However, being entertainers, i really like to add amusement blended in nicely with amazing magic. perfecto combo. :D

Depends on who my audiences are. I tend to amuse kids but amaze adults.
