Title: What Do U Do Wif Worn Out Cards
exohordon - October 29, 2004 02:28 PM (GMT)
Wad do u guys do wif ur worn out cards?
Do u throw them away?
burn them?
Keep them as collection to keep track of how many decks u wasted in ur entire magic career?
Sell them to Arang Guni?
Or cut out some of the design for fun?
illusionist - October 29, 2004 02:35 PM (GMT)
I use it for where cards must be torn up or can use it as a drity deck princple lol.. or I just use to make hearts to my gf...

Well, you can do lots of stuff with them:
-Put the thing down, flip it and reverse it
-Cook and eat them
-Draw on them and trade them around with your friends like Pokemon cards
-Roll them up and smoke them
-Cut out a semi-circle, and "stick it in your arm" :D
-Re-seal them up, and send them back to the USPCC as a defecitve deck, and get a "brick" of cards back
-Repeat above process
Those are just some of the things you can do with old cards. More coming soon.

Hey! Glue them together and use 3 tilts to do a short ambitious routine with close with a slamming ending (slam the deck on the table) Hehehe.
exohordon - October 29, 2004 02:53 PM (GMT)
Wat seasoning goes well when u cook cards?
Baking is a good idea?
Seal the sweat juices frm the hands inside the card
Winder - October 29, 2004 03:22 PM (GMT)
Staple them together and do card dribbling...
Magicdow - October 29, 2004 11:25 PM (GMT)

Mystical2004 - October 30, 2004 05:37 AM (GMT)

Huron - October 30, 2004 12:52 PM (GMT)

Brendan - November 1, 2004 02:53 PM (GMT)
Where can i see the anaconda flourish? any link?
and for the old decks.. if u planning to throw it away... why dont u do a trick with it first... DO THIS.
Bake ya deck of cards in the oven without burning it. By baking, u will make the card crisp and then take it out... go do and challenge someone to hold the whole deck and tear/rip it. let them do it with another deck of cards of course.... . 100% they cant.
Then u show them ya muscles and take out ya ovened card.. then say "Waaaaatch........... " and tear it bro!
:P

CTG - Cards to Ground Nice one ~
Moondust - November 21, 2004 04:30 AM (GMT)
Don't know if you guys tried it but I use old cards to practice making gaffs. I try methods like peeling, soaking in water, ironing, different types of glue, etc.
...but then again, sometimes I run out of toilet paper, so... :P
iewgnod - November 21, 2004 04:54 AM (GMT)

Hey xdtjpx, I've gotta say, I'm pretty pissed off right now. And your stupid one-word posts like "ya" and "lol" are pissing me off even more. You can either contribute properly or you can get lost. I think the second option's kinda better for you.

Hey Guys.. Generally.. My views abt used deck.. I use them for a trick called the voodoo zone..
Its a cool trick that uses 2 cards.. dun need to be identical.. Cause it will be wasted in the end.. In the end u wont waste ur cards..
Anyone one is the mecury card fold trick.. Hmm but old deck and new deck diff, new deck is harder and thus will not be the same..
As to use as duplicates.. not easy.. Ur normal fan will not be able to do.. since the texture of new and old is diff.. and the color is darker.. and its obvious that it is not from the deck.. So i dun really recommand to use it as duplicates..
Oh like Fad, get everyone to sign the deck and keep it.. its nice also.. Hehe..
BuaYa - April 2, 2005 07:03 PM (GMT)
Voodoo zone? I believe the correct name of the effect is card warp... Hmmm...
LarryDK - April 2, 2005 07:08 PM (GMT)
Oh its okie.. So many different names for a trick one.. Haha!! Seriously if u look into ellusionst.. they call it voodoo zone..
Like the here then there..
BuaYa - April 2, 2005 07:22 PM (GMT)
LoL... But Ellusionist is the ONLY people who call it Voodoo zone...
Kevin - April 3, 2005 02:26 AM (GMT)
In that case, Paul Curry should have his ass sued off for daring to call his effect "Out of This World" instead of the oh-so-mighty, better-than-Shapeshifter-DVD title of "Chance Zero" that the Ellusionist guys have so cleverly bestowed upon it <_<
Back on topic, I've been trying out new ways to crimp cards, and some of the crimps are a little heavy. Burr.

BuaYa - April 3, 2005 02:29 AM (GMT)
Hey Kevin, teach me ur crimp next time! ^_^
I make feeble attempts to build gimmicks using old cards...
