No need to search high and low...

Just get Jeff Mcbride - World Class Manipulation Volume 1-3...

He teaches from the basic to toughest...
I personally thinks that some of his manipulation either cannot be done or it requires a lot of practise...

Train Hard!!

Actually Shoot has published a dvd on his thimble routine and luckily i bought 1 copy of it during his lecture in singapore. The Dvd teaches in japanese language only but it is still easy to understand just from the video. Maybe u can check his webby www.holyshoot.com to see if he sells it on his webby, if not maybe you can email him and enquire thru the webby. I bought mine at SGD$50

Me too, i got Shoot's dvd and found that its not hard to learn even though its japanese. Cos the actions are very clear and he does repeat the emphasis at important parts.

I suggest you order straight at www.holyshoot.com and contact his manager, this is what my friend did.

I bought i set of thimbles from murphys by Uday i suppose, it is just so "idiotic", the thimble is short and fat, much bigger than my finger, and it looks UGLY!!! SO i concluded that the thimbles are Idiotic.

A friend of mine bought the thimbles from vernet, it looks pretty fine but way too big, even for people with big hands like me.

So if you are really keen on performing thimbles, just contact shoot or his manager, his thimbles is the best, nice and fits well.

lefty. how big are those thimble?
im currently looking for thimble to match my finger and hand size. its around 8.5-9.5cm around my finger

Lefty - October 31, 2006 05:28 AM (GMT)
8.5cm around your finger? maybe you should measure the diameter around your finger tip.

hmmm.... the rest are just too big, shoots thimbles is good, should be able to fit your hand. Furthermore, the uday set really look awful and short, shoot's thimbles are brighter and well-made.

hihs - October 31, 2006 05:34 AM (GMT)
its around 2 cm diameter on my finger

Lefty - October 31, 2006 05:43 AM (GMT)
Sorry bro, but did you get the measurements right? my index is only alittle more than 1.5cm and even my thumb is only 2cm in diameter.

and the circumference of my index is around 4cm.

Maybe you do want to check on your measurement again, as my hand is consider pretty big already, for those with small hands, even my girlfriend is able to fit in the shoot's thimble nicely.

oh. i used the wrong string to measure.
its around 7 cir around and 6.8 if i wrapped it tightly
around 2.2 diameter on my right

thumb has around a 6.8 cir and 2.3 cm

my hands are really big as compare to all the people i know.
seriously.

If thats the case, maybe you would like to try the vernet one, its alittle bigger for me, maybe it will fit you, comes with shells too, and the quality is quite good.

By the way if you are interested in getting a set of vernet colour-changing thimble please let me know. I bought two sets, brand new and when it arrived i realised that they are too big for my fingers. I want to sell them off.
