cyyssg - February 6, 2006 04:48 PM (GMT)
Hi,

I heard of Viper and normal Bicycles.

Which one good for newbie who wants to pick up te art of
card handling.

Markiebeth - February 6, 2006 04:53 PM (GMT)
Just get a normal deck of bikes.

Lefty - February 6, 2006 05:03 PM (GMT)
Some flourishers use "SUN CRUISE" deck. As it is cheap and the cards are more hard. :g:

BuaYa - February 7, 2006 06:07 AM (GMT)
Firstly, wrong forum section.
Secondly, sun cruises aren't cheap.
Thirdly, any deck will do, choose something you like man.

Lastly, get some DVDs. ^.-

Have a nice day

TayYH89 - February 7, 2006 02:23 PM (GMT)
Bicycles.
Or if you can afford, Tally-hos.

Trix - February 7, 2006 02:27 PM (GMT)
Bikes are the most economical and high quality cards.

Favourites for commoners. I suppose. ^_^

pph3cy - February 7, 2006 04:25 PM (GMT)

Haha that's a good one. Yups, just get any deck and practice, it will still work out well in the end if you put in the efforts.

huh?! 7-11 have aladdin? where? how much for one? oh anyway..i heard tally-hos's better for flourishing..

Brendan - February 8, 2006 08:09 AM (GMT)
start with bikes first....

cheaper and one of the best. Using Tallys isnt going to make u flourish better.

With skillz any USPC decks will do. Even locally made, u can flourish but thier finish is lousy... cant fan and super rough edges.... yucks.

Wanna look good and feel like a pro, use good quality cards.. and like i said, go with BIKES...

zomaziz - February 8, 2006 11:35 AM (GMT)
i heard that tally-ho is better for flourishing though.. followed by bikes. haha. tally ho is supposedly heavier?
there's a real difference in material.. but i cant point it out.

anyway, any deck is still ok...

HarapanOng - February 8, 2006 12:10 PM (GMT)
Ever heard of the proverb: A skilled writer does not choose his pens?

It simply means that if you have the skill, the tools don't really matter.

chew on that.

Trix - February 8, 2006 12:46 PM (GMT)
No i don't agree. Writing is another matter.

Then, how bout running online games (eg. counter-strike) on dial up. No matter how good your skill is. You will still lose out.

HarapanOng - February 8, 2006 02:19 PM (GMT)
Ok, I did not phrase it well enough.

What the proverb means here is that...

Skilled writer: someone who writes beautiful handwriting, not an author,
Does not choose his pens: If his handwriting is so beautiful, do the tools matter?

Writer here means calligrapher, not author. Sorry.

SHANGHAIBeN - February 9, 2006 06:57 AM (GMT)

just a question. where to get Jerry's Nugget? how much per deck? :D

TayYH89 - February 9, 2006 07:58 AM (GMT)
Check out eBay

Trix - February 9, 2006 11:26 AM (GMT)
 1 Collectible Jerry's Nugget Casino Deck is going for around 50USD on Ebay.

Daren - February 16, 2006 10:58 AM (GMT)
It doesn't matter what Deck u use, u can be using Jerry Nuggets but ZERO skill, so no point, just grab a deck, even an SIA deck is good if u're good..

Dragon - February 17, 2006 03:00 AM (GMT)
Any deck can flourish like duh. Learn more stuff and decide for yourself. So lame..... -_-

Jaspas - February 19, 2006 02:36 PM (GMT)
... I like using Black Bikes. They RULE.

Vic - February 19, 2006 02:46 PM (GMT)
Umm... Black Bikes for a beginner? I think its too expensive to damage... Probably he should stick with bikes until he gets better... Yeah. I'm also using bikes... Still kinda noob. Yeah. Get cheaper decks first, and get better decks when you get more pro.

Jaspas - February 19, 2006 02:48 PM (GMT)
I use black Aladdins for performance.

:!!: I thought black Aladdins doesn't exist. :S

I use red Aladdins instead. They are good and can last longer than normal bikes. And they are cheaper too ^_^

Tell me where to get black aladdins!!! And is it at the same price as normal red and blue Aladdins?

Jaspas - February 20, 2006 01:42 PM (GMT)
I was just screwing around with your mind. HEHE.

Vic - February 20, 2006 01:55 PM (GMT)
Hahas. Jaspas so bad. Yeah. Serious, should use those cheap decks for practice and higher class decks for performance/recording... =)

You can just wax your blue aladdin deck so much and keep dropping it, collecting dust and dirt, and wait for the deck to transform into a black aladdin. :D

bigbadwolf - February 26, 2006 04:57 AM (GMT)
hmm..where to get these sun cruise cards?

are they air cushioned or plastic coated??

<Aaron> - April 16, 2006 10:36 AM (GMT)
i have an incomplete sun cruise deck at home, use it mainly for card warp(the tearing up version). it's should be air-cushioned, the back has holes, the front has a bit more squarish holes? not sure.

and the last time i saw this cards being sold was at<oh, new rule, can't answer this question till mod gives the green light.> ;)

P.S. so can i expose where it can be bought?

bigbadwolf - April 16, 2006 12:22 PM (GMT)
aviator is actually not bad too...although it is plastic coated.

its cheaper than aladdin ^_^

Joe112 - April 17, 2006 01:59 PM (GMT)
WPT Bees are nice, though not so much for flourishing cos' the back design makes your nice round even fans look weird. If you're into fanning I'd go with the Dragon Fanning Deck and Tally-hos. I'm totally into the WPT Bees now though. And is it just me or does the black one look a bit luminous?

bigbadwolf - April 17, 2006 04:07 PM (GMT)
$7 also called only?

quite ex for me :(

Joe112 - April 17, 2006 10:28 PM (GMT)
Cheaper than Ghosts, Tigers, no? And it lasts pretty long. WIth a Joe Porper it probably lasts even longer.

Rapid867Flare - July 31, 2010 02:07 PM (GMT)
Jerry's Nuggets or other thick and stiff decks.
