WOAH!! Think the first one was quite doable. Got my own ideas on how to do it. Seen the second one before somewhere (think it should be taught in Ellusionist's How to perform street magic I think. If I am not wrong). The third one was classic. Out of this world!! My eyes nearly popped out looking at it  Freakyyyy :D
LarryDK - February 10, 2006 09:19 AM (GMT)
Wow, the last part of the routine was mind blowing. Haha!!!
The best part of the whole thing is not juz about the last part, but the pressure that he gave to the audience before the whole thing start. Everyone alreadi believe in him before he even did it. :)
sand king - February 10, 2006 09:26 AM (GMT)
gulp! his presentation is really strong!!

Oh man the way he does his sleights are just beautiful. Couldn't think of another suitable word haha. And his performance is good too. As in the way he brings his act across. Real good. I wannnnn!! :g:

The finale effect in the ACR was not originated from Cyril. It was on the FISM dvd I bought during last year's magic convention organised by Lawrence and Priscilla Khong. I am too uninformed to recognise the guy who performed it at FISM but i believe he's one of the category winners. He didn't perform it as an ACR effect, but as part of some super baffling multiple impact card routine and the 3rd phrase was the finale too.
Honestly, the FISM guy's presentation and patter was even better, (Or maybe because most of Cyril's patter doesn't make any sense to me at all :g:), but Cyril as always is real entertaining.
Sometimes i think part of the entertainment is the dramatic reactions of japanese.
xuanweng - February 10, 2006 11:20 AM (GMT)
wow... i'm spechless too... very nice... though i dun understand more than half of what they are talkin...
blueheaven - February 10, 2006 03:50 PM (GMT)
Probably like what was mentioned in Born to Perform that ACR was something that transcends all language barriers.
I'm staring in awe even as I type this

Everyone has to check this one out, damn bloody interesting...
Cyril in a stage act! And not just stage act, but a manipulation act. With cigarettes manipulation and pseudo card manipulation.
And he uses silk to cane too! ;) :D
I dunno the backgrd of the guy but this should put to rest anyone who says he is just a camera magician who uses lotsa stooges.
Doing magic on the streets may be the way to go if you wanna attract mass appeal nowadays and is what every new magic hobbist is getting into. But this clip shows that stage magic is still so far from over, even....no.....ESPECIALLY the classics.
Cool clip that one. Go check it out.
Lefty - February 11, 2006 06:48 PM (GMT)
Powerful!!!! almost everything he use is just for parlour and close up and he can make it into such a wonderful stage show... :g:
BuaYa - February 12, 2006 01:59 AM (GMT)
I've never seen so much piracy infringement in my life before. But Cyril still rocks.
I quote Russell Peters "You downloading BA******"
iNvIsIbLe - February 14, 2006 01:42 PM (GMT)

Apparently, it's very hard to find it outside of Japan. I guess I was just lucky to see it then.
It's has a lot of FISM acts, but not all are full footages. And the commentaries are all in Japanese.

April's Fool! :!!: That's it! :!!:
Sorry bryanne, i was just pulling your leg because it's April's Fool Day. :g:
:D It's just a joke.......
......You don't really need 48 hours to become a master of misdirection. You only need 90 minutes:
- 60 minutes to watch the ID
- 30 minutes to practise in front of the mirror
Then you are ready to perform already.
:g:
Jaspas - April 1, 2006 12:53 AM (GMT)

HarapanOng - April 1, 2006 03:06 PM (GMT)
Signs of Penguin Education. hahaha.
I don't know about others, but to me, the Magic Clips section is meant for... you know... appreciating the beauty of magic in video/visual nature. Not to try to watch something till you figure it out.
Haha. Instant Downloads.
