the recommended one would be ulti ace assembly, emerge triumphant, out of this world, and mambo no.5,revolver has a kicker ending, and daley show.just what i think they offer best as IDs

Guys.....seriously....

If you are serious about learning magic and not just trying to find out secrets, then DON'T waste your money on Instant Downloads. For what you get to learn from them, most of them are really NOT WORTH the money.

If you spend the money on a few good magic books and/or DVDs (probably the cost of maybe 5 IDs?), and put some effort into studying them, you will be able to figure out MOST of the ID effects in no time. In the long run, it's really so much more worth it.

But of course some might say "I cannot learn from books" or "I just want to learn that SPECIFIC trick and don't care abt anything else really" or "I don't have time to start learning the basics. I want to impress the girl sitting beside me in school by next week". Then by all means go ahead.... -_-

But I'm telling ya....you're wasting your money.... B)

thanks for the tip aloy, i know what you are trying to say, pluck apples from different trees and combine them to make apple juice... errr ID haha jokes aside, he ment that you can find techniques of the IDs from different books or dvds, just combine the moves to form a trick :)

am i right?

bigbadwolf - February 20, 2006 11:56 AM (GMT)
these are a few which i think its good

1. Do as I Do
2. Color Monte
3. Jazz Aces
4. Synergy
5. Pyro Perception
6. Revolver
7. Shotgun Aces

all are impromptu, except pyro perception

simple and hard hitting

sometimes its not we want to waste money, but after watching the demos, we sometimes get curious and eager to learn to trick. Thus ending up buying ID.

Furthermore, ID is instant, we don't have to wait till the cows come home before the dvd arrives. That's the advantages for an instant download. ;)

sand king - February 20, 2006 12:09 PM (GMT)
i dont think pyro perception and colour monte are IDs... they are packet tricks

bigbadwolf - February 20, 2006 12:19 PM (GMT)
oops sorry

yup they are packet tricks. :P

<Aaron> - February 21, 2006 02:47 AM (GMT)
haha but somehiow i just don't trust instant downloads...it's just too....instant...nsaw one called quantum bandits...it was just crazy man's handcuff repackaged!!! and i was like what the.... ^_^

bigbadwolf - February 21, 2006 07:57 AM (GMT)
ya..i understand what u mean.

the disappointment is there. but you bought it because you saw the presentation by Oz was good isn't it?

maybe by polishing up the presentation, although its a simple trick, the effect will still be as hard hitting :)

(not trying to advertise for Oz Pearlman, but just re-stating what someone told me about simple trick hit hard :) )

by the way...is Penguin Magic found by Oz???

sand king - February 21, 2006 09:06 AM (GMT)
no, he is their magician... :P

vennomz - February 21, 2006 11:40 AM (GMT)
in case ure wondering penguin magic is founded by maxwell murphy and alcar altinsel.speaking about IDs ask when beginners see the performance by Oz pearlman they cant help but be blown away by these tricks.that pushes them to crave for the method to how its done and ID seems like the fast food to satisfy the curiosty.

if i selling ids to other people is that part of the breaking rules ?

Markiebeth - February 21, 2006 12:22 PM (GMT)
Theoratically speaking the IDs still 'belong' to Penguin. Taking their material and then selling it off without prior permission is certainly illegal. Then again with so many people making copies of CDs and selling of ripped of versions of gimmicks, it is so hard to tell what is 'right or wrong'.
