You are fishing for methods. If you own King Rising, you'll know how to do the proper way. We don't need people like you here. Here's a 2 weeks suspension.

Wouldn't it be nice if Penguin or Ellusionist has an Instant download on misdirection? Then we can all learn to misdirect in 2 days. ^_^

Tommy Wonder's Book of Wonder has some (of my personal fav) thoughts on the subject of misdirection (or direction, as he calls it).
I saw Magic and Showmanship in some local shops too and there were some good stuff on this subject in there too.
And i have heard of one call Magic by Misdirection, which I've never seen, which should have what you want.....if that's what you want. B)

P.S. The titles i mentioned, those are books, in case you are wondering. ^_^

By the way ALoy,

Magic By Misdirection is a part of the 3 volumes series by Dariel FItzkee. This book teaches alot about misdirection as the "real secrets of magic" and it is worth the read. (Provided that you can still get it). This book is also recommended by Tommy Wonder himself during his lecture in IF 2005.

Showmanship for magicians can be found in some libraries and it is great read for people who want to find out how tricks are structured so that it is "natural" and also touches on the audience attention curve, which is a good study for any aspiring magicians who are planning an act.

As for the Books of wonder, I don't have those.

Phsycofreak,

You don't need a big palm to palm cards. Try reading up on various palming techniques that do not require the "full palm". I'm sure that will be of great help to you.

Regards,
llamalamer

Magic by Misdirection, although very dated, is still very available from most good online magic shops. And the FItzkee trilogy includes Showmanship for Magicians.

I remember a post SOMEWHERE in these forums with links to online version of these 3 books.

And the Tommy Wonder books, I've been wanting to get those since seeing him live during IF Magic 2005 and reading Aloy's review of them. But they just a little pricy.

Pls DO NOT dig out that OLD thread on Fitzkee so that ppl will take, at the very least, some effort to find them, intead of asking around everywhere, everytime, everyday for sth.

Just my (rather) STRONG opinion.

Sounds like a good idea. B)
Sometimes people only appriciate what they get when they have to work for it.

Yeah, it's in here somewhere. I remember it too. If your really keen on it, go find it. ^_^

is t*nk*i a good way to palm?

post edited to prevent exposure

Ace - April 12, 2006 09:43 AM (GMT)
Yes.... It's a good way.... But compared to other palms it is more angle sensitive.... The thing i like about it is that unlike other palms it feels more comfortable(in my opinion) and you can palm it infont of them for a long time...especially infront of a table...

Try the dealing F**** using this palm... I had alot of fun doing this one....
