Magic stuff don't come cheap. Especially for stage performances. My loss, your gain. Pls save these things from collecting dust in my bedroom!

1. For Sale: Japanese Stage 3 linking rings

Magnetic catch, bought overseas... Comes in an original soft white carrier bag (to prevent scratches), never used before... Key ring has a strong inbuilt m****tic catch so you can easily work it & openly display that it is all truly linked. Though the size is the standard one for stage magic, the set is of lightweight metal so very easy & convenient for transportation ^_^

Bought for more than $120 overseas
Yours for $80 (like new, mint condition!!!)

Throwing in 2 free magic magazines for you (includes magic tricks & articles - from USA)

2. For Sale: Japanese Stage Prop - Magic Wand to Cane

From Japan, still in its plastic wrap & original box (has 'Japan' all over it) :P High quality stage magic prop where you can twirl the wand (classic look, black with 2 white ends) and with a flourish, easily transform it into a smart solid cane that is more than a metre long (about the length of a regular stage performance cane). You won't be able to find this here or any American online stores, granted. Lightweight & compact for easy handling, storage & transportation. A very cool realistic looking magical stage prop!

Purchased overseas for almost $100
Yours for only $65 (excellent condition)

Throwing in 2 free magic magazines for you (includes magic tricks & articles - from USA)

3. For Sale: Dancing Cane for Stage Performance

This classic dancing cane is made from quality lightweight wood in black with the 2 white ends. Gently tapers down, it can be taken apart into 2 parts for your convenience. Standard performance size. Cane only, used condition. Can't remember how much I got it for (purchased long time ago from some UK magic website) but you can have the dancing cane for just $35 'cos I really don't use it anymore.

4. For Sale: Stage Butterflies (for levitation purposes)

Hook them up to your IT system and magically float them for your stage performances. Professionally painted by hand, they look beautiful and will be realistic for your stage work. Got a total of 10 (1 yellow/ 2 blue/ 2 purple/ 2 orange/ 3 red), can be reused again and again. Will last you a long time as long as you take proper care of it (don't sit on them lah!!!). Butterflies only, pls note that no stage IT included. Selling at just $5 each, pls indicate what colors you want. Price neg if you buying more than 2.

5. For Sale: Magician Escape Handcuffs

Ning.. Do you have a photo on how your dancing cane looks like? or any more info?

nyx - March 19, 2006 03:06 AM (GMT)
What type of cuffs is it? The name or picture if possible?

Ello... I don't have a picture but it's not a Fukai or Uday... can't recall the maker tho. The quality is something in between, looks like the regular kind-the typical black cane with white tips. Made of light wood & can be taken apart at its middle (some are just one full stick of wood) so it's easy to transport.

If you happen to be near my place, just gimme a buzz :) Can bing it down to show you... ^_^ No obligations!

Looks something like this... 2 chain links that attaches the 2 sides, key slot is a little off centre & comes with 2 keys- one you pass to the audience, the other you hide for your release later. Looks & feels like your law enforcer type, audience can actually test it out. Remember, this is not a toy- for serious magic escape performances only!

Oh right... here's the link for my available set of magnetic linking rings for stage performances

If you goggle 'magnetic linking rings' it'll also come up. Boasting that it's the cheapest price available, you can see that it's priced the set @ £46.95

That's more than S$133 and not yet inclusive of shipping.

So heh, grab this good deal while you still can ^_^ S$80 is a steal!!

Managed to find a link for the Japanese stage wand to cane It's the first item listed.

Needs no setup, can be performed anywhere/ anytime. It's lightweight, less than a kg tho it extends to a solid cane. A couple of suggestions on what you can do with it...

Effect 1: Wand you've been using throughout show suddenly changes to full length cane to your command

Effect 2: Full length came becomes wand (vice versa from above lah)

Effect 3: Wand held in hand (looks perfectly normal). Show an empty hat/ bag/ cap/ etc. Put wand in with the tip sticking out, proceed to pull out full sized cane.

Very easy to use, authentic from Japan... made of good quality materials (fibre glass!)... Smooth!!

It looks like Swith & Wesson's model, which i've been looking for! Darn. If i contribute to Ning's study fund, who will donate to Nyx's lifestyle luxuries?

Back to the cuffs. Let me think about it. I know it's not a toy though it can be in some cases, like.. Er.. :off:

OK, I'll think about it.

Ok.. if it doesn't rust so easily as my old linking ring (bought 10 years ago), I'll take it. PM or email me on additional info?

Falcon121 - March 25, 2006 08:27 AM (GMT)
about the cuffs right... is it possible to perform it on the streets... i.e get specs to cuff you and then when u turn your back to the wall you "pick" yourself free?

Not really interested lah... More curious than anything...

nyx - March 25, 2006 08:30 AM (GMT)
It's possible. You have to be really out of sight. As in if spectators try to peep from the side and you have no cover, a big no.

Ning - March 25, 2006 05:25 PM (GMT)
Rings are atill available... they will not rust because it's made of aluminium & not the cheap metal versions available in the market. Got a few people interested in it, with someone offering $100 for it already. If anyone is willing to top up a bit more, let me know. Sale for this magnetic locking set closes on Fri, 31 March.. :)

Cuffs, yeah... it's for the performing magician's escape acts ;)

thanks...

Josh - March 28, 2006 10:27 AM (GMT)
Ning, seems that your PM inbox is full! :)
