Title: Wad's The Most Expensive Trick Bought?
Description: How much ur willing to spend?

exohordon - November 3, 2004 06:37 AM (GMT)
So far Wad's the most expensive trick u ever bought?
Be it good or bad.
Let's no include DVD or book volumes but a single effect.
For me i think its the dream vanish.

BuaYa - November 3, 2004 12:54 PM (GMT)
The bloody PK-5.
I hate it. A lot.

Aloy - November 3, 2004 01:06 PM (GMT)
What's wrong with PK-5? That's the M5 system rite? I almost got it myself but decided it can be purchased from other sources much cheaper.

The single most expensive for me has got to be The Mark. Paid S$80 for it to realise can get it for US$25 from internet.

illusionist - November 3, 2004 01:54 PM (GMT)
I think I got lots of expensive stuff like the elevator.... hahahahahaha :P

BuaYa - November 3, 2004 02:06 PM (GMT)
PK-5? Nothing wrong. Its just damn unpractical for my magic style... I do mostly stand up, and since this is Singapore, you can't expect me to wear long sleeves right? People would think i have "something up my sleeves" lol

exohordon - November 4, 2004 06:30 AM (GMT)
To me M5 and raven is not realli practical in Singapore
I know some of u gonna argue bout that pt.
But juz my 2 cents.

Anyway if u walk around in singapore often wif long sleeves, ppl might think ur albino or u have some wretched skin disease.

And the fact u have to use foreign coins is not practical.
U can't borrow a coin and vanish it.
The m[exposure censored] is strong though
Maybe u can use it for other purposes.
Like stopping a watch and u couldn't start it again and kena F by the owner.

mayb a long sleeve jersey?

Moondust - November 23, 2004 09:07 AM (GMT)
Fantasio's Vanishing Cane with Dancing Cane gimmick & manuscripts, and 2 red silks for the vanishing effect. Cost me bloody almost a hundred Sing, and that's back in 1988.

I blew a few months' allowance on that. It was worth the $$ but it surely pains the heart.

Actually, if you're already working or going clubbing, long sleeves aren't really that unacceptable.

But you're right on the watch-stopping thing. It's darn cool but if the watch is some cheapy imitation Rolex and it goes kaput, you're screwed.

Mmmm M5...Never regreted buying it , its my first magic purchase...its pretty useful in lecture room and restuarant setting. The moving matchstick and linking ring is pretty strong effect. You can even move tissue paper ard if u use abit of ur creativity ;p
Well worth the money in my case :)

That's right. You do realise that Ellusionist is prohibitively expensive, do you? Listen to Illusionist, you stubborn little @#$#@!!!!

Get your card routines down. He's already willing to meet you and give you judgement on your creativity. Take it constructively and improve yourself in the process.

Moondust - November 23, 2004 05:54 PM (GMT)
Eh harlow, you sit at home everyday with all your free time in your holidays and you complain about time restraints? Be reasonable lah... I also have to come up with a routine to show you despite my hectic work schedule.

I can't just do something half-past-six right? And what's all that talk about following my footsteps? You're old enough to pave your own way. I'm just here to help you. Spoonfeeding will do more harm than good. Try to understand this.

You stubborn @#%$@!!!!!

Xtreme - November 23, 2004 06:03 PM (GMT)

Nice try. Work on your routine. I'm tired of repeating myself over and over again. And I'm not a pro. Don't use the age difference as a defense mecahnism for complacency.

YOU STUBBORN @#$@#!!!!

Million dollar knot $19.95
Not as expensive as the rest of you here :D

Moondust - November 28, 2004 08:34 AM (GMT)
IMHO. million-dollar knot sure as hell's a better option than buying Loops in packets of 5!

Money well-spent here.
