hi guys... i just got 20% warn... so i wonder if it will be cleared after sometime... and what will happen if i got 100%?

The warning system is to help mods keep track of what are the previous "things" that someone has done. There are notes attached to each warning to say what the warning is for. For example, I can see your warnings are due to bad posting structure (i.e. puncuation, paragraphing, etc)
It doesn't have to reach 100% for something to "happen" ;)
Repeating something dispite repeatedly being told not to for example.

It also is an informal way to gauge the "trust worthiness" of a user.

Yes it will go away after a while. If someone has been making sensible and good posts for a while, it will be removed when it's no longer relevant by any mod.
Many has had their warnings reset before.

I got two waring in a same date and i feel that its kinda unfair because i post 2 threads and got 2 warning for the same thing.. =( which i did not know. maybe that should count as one?

It'll not have happened if one should read the rules. We have to be strict on this issue due to what history has taught us here.

Don't worry, the warnings will not be permernant. Its there to make people who flout the rules aware of what they did.

Yeah... Its just our faults... like when I just entered, I also got a 10% warning on the first day for improper English.. at first I was also angry.. but probably I cooled down after knowing that it was in the rules... Yeah. Just learn from your mistakes

And my 10% warning for improper english still aint cleared yet :X even though I have been using proper english since then... Yeah. But its ok. B)

Do understand guys that we are not trying to be anal and make it difficult for users.
SMC is only around for 1 yr plus but we have learnt from past incidents the preventive measures we have to take to prevent certain problems from arising. End of the day, that's just what it is.

hey pylusx , you should see mine.I just joined SMC and my very first day I got 30 percent warning.When I first saw I was like what the hell is happening?. I read the rules and was like "da*n it".Most probaly its because I thought that if I need to reach to a certain number of post and I will be able to reply at the marketplace. I've only got 3 post and when I click reply is marketplace , there was no error and stuff so I thought "hey , Im in" and carried on with the reply and got warned my Alexander for hijacking <_< , I dont think i was hijacking , Jeremy asked if the bat come with instructions , I replied Im selling mine at 30 , which doesnt make sense at all and alex warned me 20% for hijacking!!!! I'm like what the hell is happening.

how to check my warning level ?

its below the date you joined which is on the left of the page. if u have no warning then there will be nothing

Writing.....like this.....is.......quite....hard to.....read....and doesn't have any....meaning.....unless you are....very cold.......but usually.....it means.....a mod....have to come....and rewrite your post for you.......and give you a warning tag in return.....

I always hate it when people take on a tone with the mods. Even if there's a mistake, you could have asked for clarifications NICELY or at least cordially.

The mods are doing you a favour by moderating the forum. I don't think they own it to you. <_<

and ya..the mods are nice people(pnce you get to know them) look at it this way..you are probably going to ban and warn people once you become a mod so don't blame them! :P

Guys, Y worried about the warning?? Juz dun do it again, and it be fine. The warning is there to remind you, it wont tell people how to judge you people.

Those people that judge people by their past are living in the past. So get it going.

As for whether the warning will be removed, its totally up to the admin, there is no way u can ask them and expect it to be removed.

As for the saying, "An offence is always an offence" You cant tell the government to take away ur term record in jail because u simply juz told him that you wont do it again. right?
