Title: Where To Buy Loose And Large Rubberbands?

Mystifier - April 1, 2006 04:02 AM (GMT)
Hi everyone, I would like to purchase rubberbands that are relatively large and also loose. Any recommended places?

What size are you talking about? You can find rubberbands in most stationery shops.

For good quality size 19, you can get from dealers here.

Try getting normal rubberbands that are quite small and tight, and stretch them around a large encyclopedia.

:)

haha, That will work? Maybe i will try. I am trying to get big bundles of rubberbands for magic. Tight and small ones are not very suitable. Thanks for replies from both of you.

I believe Exor can get them from Murphys for you.

Sizes that are suitable for tricks in BandShark DVD.

You guys know where to get size 19 ones? Can't believe there are such rubber bands with sizes and I am saying it

Don't say dealer because confirm expensive(imported, time etc) and far(I live at west area)

I seen a bag of rubber bands at NTUC before but quite long time ago and I don't think you can get yellow ones with size stated <_<

maybe you can try flipping yellow pages and look for the supplier and call up to check if they have it or they supply to which shop...

If you want to get those that are used by Harlan in his video, you have to order it online from Office Depot. But I don;t know if they'll ship it to Singapore. Plus the shipping is going to cost you.

If you want those bands used in Pinnacle, you get try the dealers here, not cheaper than those in the stationery shops here but the quality is a lot lot better.

What's the difference actually?

And.. how do I know which dealers living in the west part sell these, like in a packet? What you think it may cost?

Just ask them.

The only rubber bands that I can find are those that the hawkers use
when they 'tar pow' your food. I even went to Mohd Mustafa but
disappointingly they also sell the same type of rubber band that I have
mentioned. Thinking of trying the Popular Book Shop stationary section
in JB. Malaysia exports rubber band right?

you can try daiso at imm 3rd floor.. i saw some coloured rubber bands there at the stationary section or you can ask the stuff what rubber bands they have

Thanks for the replies.. will check out the places when I have time. But I think i getting from exohordon

edit: for those interested its $6 a pack, 100 inside

I finally found No. 18 (close enough to 19, I guess) rubber bands selling at
Daiso Dept Store at IMM. The brand is D'Band and it comes in a black and
yellow box and No.18 is the largest size that they made it. Look for the
rack where they display scissors and it's there. Cheap, cheap...only $2
per box.

Some of the bigger stationery shops will have them. Pretty easy to find.
