I am still quite new to this forum but may I know how are we "grouped"?
What is the difference between a 'newbie' and a 'senior member'?

maybe just how people look at us? dunno. =S and to up the rank you got to post post post!

Groups are catergorised by the number of posts you have contributed. However please do not post rubbish just to gain post counts.
It doesn't really matter which group you belong to. We have very good magicians here who are still under the group "newbie".

Yeah. Alot of them... Like Jaspas? SMC members with 40+ posts? Yeah. Its about your contribution.
Don't spam... OR MAGICDOW OR OTHER MODERATORS will be after you A$$ <_<

Ok. But is a reply counted as a post?

Jaspas is actually an "old bird" who "transferred" his membership. B)
The different groupings activates certain functionalities in the forum. The ability to post in Marketplace, editing and deleting of posts, user profiles, number of emails you can send....etc etc

Yes....but only in magic sections, not in non-magic sections.

Mod's Note (#1):
Please read forum rules about posting 1 liners under Marketplace Postings.
2) Flood the other sections with meaningless posts or one-liner posts with very little added value (e.g. "That's funny!", "I agree ", "What do you mean?", "Thank you.", etc etc) in order to raise your post counts. If you have some one-liner you have to say or a joke to share, try to add on to it by saying something that contributes to the topic. Try not to leave it just as a single liner.
Spamming will only result in your post counts being reduced by 50% which means it will take longer for you to reach the post count needed.
