Title: Corinda Book?

Maddened - April 30, 2006 11:03 AM (GMT)
Right. I'm not sure if this is allowed, as this thread is basically a WTB kind of thread. I couldn't post in the Marketplace so I thought I'll try this place. If I'm out of line by posting this up here, just delete the thread, I'll know that I've committed a boo-boo.

Anyway, just trying my luck to see if anyone has a 2nd hand copy Corinda's 13 Steps? Online dealers are asking for an arm for it and I'll need both arms, so thought of trying this forum.

Also, any other book recommendations? I know that I should get Corinda and Anneman (anyone with a 2nd-hand copy of this? :P) so what else? I actually like learning from books more, for some weird reason, in this age of DVDs and Instant-Downloads. Maybe I'm just old-fashioned .

Thanks a lot guys!

Learning from books dosent make you old fashioned, i too prefer books to dvds, but some effects only appear on dvds so i learn from both sources.

I was just kidding. Must always keep in mind that the great ones who came before us in the history of magic had no such things as DVDs or Internet, or even VCRs. Heh...

I bought a copy of Anneman's Practical Mental Magic at Kinokuniya. Kinokuniya also have some other books like Mordern coin magic, Expert at the card table etc. Hope this helps.

If you want to save a few bucks, you can buy most (if not all) of Annemann's books in ebook format then print them out yourself.

Thanks for the link. I assume Annemann's Practical Mental Effects is the same as Annemann's Practical Mental Magic, since after comparing the contents, they're the same (but you never know... :P)?

Is the Corinda book even available in any Singapore bookstores? I gotta visit Kino one of these days. But first, I'm going to study for my exams now. Grr.

Thanks again, Challenge!
