The Evening After....

To those who went today, it was nice meeting up with you guys.. although not many people turned up, I had a good time!

I'm thinking of organizing another meeting pretty soon, maybe in a week or two.. any takers? Just let me know if you're interested or not.
Please let me know when your exams end so I can plan a good date for everyone (PM me).

It's probably going to be another informal (aka impromptu) meeting, but do prepare any fun or interesting routines if you're interested in performing!

The theme: Anything Goes!

I'm thinking of hanging out somewhere public where we can pull people off the street and perform an effect or two (maybe even a routine) for them.. 'cos I think we can learn a lot from each other in terms of performance.
Most magicians I've come across know many many tricks, but don't really perform them properly. (I'll be the first to admit that I'm guilty of that)

So hopefully this next outing will be a fun learning experience for all of us. This is also a great chance for forumites to meet each other in person! Those I met today were nice and really funny guys (as in humourous, not weird) (hmm then again.. sometimes quite weird also!) haha!

So yup, do reply to this thread or PM me to indicate if you can make it in the next 2 weeks. If I get enough responses I'll start a new thread specifically for the next meeting!

In the meantime, keep things magical! ^_^

Ack, quite an embarrassing affair for me (first outing some more). Practice is definitely in order before I shame the art of magic anymore. But everyone else was really cool. My eyes were opened... again by some of the stuff I saw.

Thanks to everyone who took the time to come down. It wasn't the best of locations, but it worked I think.

I should be free for the next meeting deadsoul. Hopefully this time round, I won't just be a spectator. :ph43r:

Wonderful meet up session, from the way each of you perform your stuffs I'm glad to say that standards are there. I'll also like to congrats hellfire for trying out busking and able to earn about $4-5 on his 1st busking trial! (took about 1 hr and about 4-5 performance) Hope to see more people coming out to busk! ^_^

Hey Maddened no worries about the meeting and your short performance. Everyone has to learn and start off from somewhere. I guess the most important thing for you is to just keep performing so you can get over the 'audience fright' thing. No one's perfect anyway, especially when I fluked one of the effects too right? :P

Hope you guys enjoyed the crazy stuff and theories I did yesterday. Will plan a proper routine the next time round ya :)
