My name is Syafiq.

I'm 22 years old.

Currently studying at NUS Engineering Faculty.

Also part time tutor and part time magician.

I've been learning magic since I was 5 years old.. (from library books)

I recalled being caught with a deck of cards in primary school!

Anyways, I only started to buy stuff and check out the magic stores in secondary 2..

I started off with card tricks and went on to mentalism.

My true love is still mentalism, however I feel the Singapore audience don't appreciate a full mentalism routine. Thus I try to ix it up in my stage performances.

I think it's not too late to pick up the standard Lance burton type act for my future shows. Currently honing my card manipulation skills... I think red back bees, poker size are too big.. So I just recently ordered red backed bees bridge size.. I'll tell u how it goes later on....

I've performed at a couple of RC shows, a lot of birthdays (both kids and adults) and some shows for some police division. Have a dinner and dance performance to practice for at the end of the year. So wish me luck ya.

Strangely while you're trying to expand out of mentalism, I'm trying to go into mentalism... :lol: Though I don't know much else about cards etc either. Eh.

And yea, let us know if you're having any shows, then we can all go and clap extra loud for all the mentalism routines... :lol:
